It's nothing to do with that really, it's more the fact that Gorgoroth got a lot less good in the later years and that was Gaahl's fault. The fact that he is gay only makes it worse, it wouldn't matter otherwise if the band had still kicked ass when he was part of it. As far as I'm concerned, this album, Pentagram, and Under The Sign Of Hell are the true, pure Gorgoroth. Destroyer was their last good album even though Gaahl has a minor role on it. After that they went downhill, IMO.
What do you mean, are you saying that people have become less macho overall because of society and as such some people have become more macho as a backlash against being more emotional and vulnerable? And what does: "Society has made its point to men that we need to be macho and not cry and like women" mean exactly? Does it mean that we need to be macho, not cry, and still like women, or be macho, not cry, and not like women? I don't understand.

@dobo12starks there are 3 core types of blast beats: alternating, which, pattern wise, are just fast thrash beats. the kind with snare kick and cymbal all hitting simultaneously, and the ones with fast double bass and snare/cymbal hitting on every other kick (which is pretty much what was used without pause from the start of krisiun's first album to the end of their 4th)
hahahahaXD thats pretty noobish but its usually a fast drum beat with the snare as fast or faster than the hi hat... its kinda hard to explain but its pretty much like a super fast drum beat hahahahahaha
As long as I've been a Gorgoroth fan, I always thought HAT was always only on Pentagram... I might be wrong, but I've read that he did all the vocals or at least some on Antichrist?
I was at Bloodstock 2010. They were the first band after 6 fucking hours to get a mosh pit and a wall of death. Good show but the only problem was I couldn't fucking hear anything XD I need to listen to some more Gorgoroth.
@BoryCohn Actually Hat only did the vocals on tracks 2, 3, 6, and 7. Pest did the vocals on tracks 1, 4, and 5. But I suppose it doesn't matter who did the vocals, their both fucking great \m/
