Super! Let us know if you need any help with prep:-) Always here to help. We also run trips if you still haven't booked yet. Our website if you are curious: followalice.com/adventure-trips/gorilla-trekking Have a great week:-)
Having done the 1 hour experience in 2019, I’d say this video is super thorough and represents the experience very well. Only thing I’d add, is sometimes road closures stop you from getting to the park during the rainy season, so although you’re still allowed to visit the gorillas, you may not be able to get to the parks.
Thanks Alwin! Thanks for the feedback and taken on board. Let us know if we can help you further! We also offer other adventure trips to Nepal, Tanzania, Bhutan amongst others. Have a nice day:-)
You really welcome Brendan Uganda is amazing with good climate and rich with wildlife and culture plus the friendly people, hope our company can host you to Uganda.
Gorilla trekking is a life changing activity that everyone should experience in a lifetime. It can be interesting to also compare Mountain gorillas trek and Lowland gorillas trek. Ubuntu Voyages organizes mountain and lowland gorillas treks in the East Africa region. Thanks for sharing this helpful video.

Hello Jess, your new maket should be the workers in North West Uganda on the Total / CNOC oil project a lot would nev know about the unique beauty in the country and what it has to offer and as worker residents they would get a good pice on the Gorilla tours and the park tours. Brilliant knowledgeable in depth information want to go one day. Mike
Fantastic!!!! One question, what about the Mosquitos? Is it in July or the whole year a big problem because of Malaria? We would love to do the trecking!
Mosquitoes are ever present in the tropics. Talk to your doc about anti-malarials, plus a mosquito repellant is helpful too. The colder, higher altitude part of Uganda generally has less mosquitoes.
@@FollowAlice it is not easy to bring drones to Uganda. Have a look at our trip in January 👍 I have been to Uganda also in June for two weeks - but there are so many Gigabytes to be reviewed 😁
Hi Jayne, I think this link could be useful. uobdu.wordpress.com/get-involved/ It lists several ways you can get involved. Including interning, donating and doing the batwa trail. The Batwa Trail is more than just visiting. It’s income, awareness, and then sharing his pics on social media to raise further awareness. I hope this helps and let us know if you require any further information.
