@jamescosgrave626 Hi James, I originally thought the same as you, but after watching the little bobcats at work, I have changed my opinion. However, they wouldn't be suitable in most eastern states due to the smaller streets and high density housing. They are perfect for WA areas such as we see in this video.
Nice video. Are the drivers restricted to only driving and operating the hopper? In the majority of this type of video the drivers do more than just run the hopper with their legs crossed. There were a couple of pieces of waste less than a meter from him. He could have very easily picked them up and threw them in the hopper. Maybe it's against company policy for the driver to do any manual labor
The bob cat does most the work they take turns on what they operate for example one will rake one will use the bob cat and one will drive trucks do operate the packer

I have to say that is one lazy driver he cant even bend down to pick rubbish up next to his feet, did someone put super glue on the button hes pressing he cant seem to stay away from it 😅😅😅😅
