Shayne Gostisbehere Alex DeBrincat and Head Coach Derek Lalonde speak with the media following Red Wings morning skate on Monday, April 15 at Little Caesars Arena.
Too many media too few good questions which results in: Chris Farley celeb interview tactics. "Hey member when the Wings were good? That was cool right?" "You guys really want to win these next two games right?" "So, exactly how do you keep your balance on skates? Is that hard?" Oh well..
Man, I swear Cat is worse than Kris Draper was back in the day with his "y'know" 's. Feels like dejavu listening to hims speak. I always used to make fun of Draper for it too 😂. I honestly have a hard time focusing on what they are actually saying because its so distracting how much they say it. I see one of them and my brain just pulls up the "Y'know" counter.
Just going to put this here again, Wings have the easiest 2 games of the teams chasing (Pit, Was) both have to play Boston. There are no easy games at the end of the season and Mtl will probably try to ruin their playoff chances but the reality is the Wings have the best chance percentage as it stands.
imagine getting gifted Patrick Kane and he goes on a crazy clutch run in his half season w your team, even crazy by his standards, and in the biggest games/potential playoff round you - bury him w Compher and Perron.
Dboss, Razor, Cat line has been looking solid, it's just the logical choice rn. He had two awful penalties against Toronto last game and despite that has looked good setting up Perron and Compher
Exactly and I hate it. The line is to slow to get puck possession most the time and if there is a break out the opposite way we are kind of screwed. Kane and Perron got great hands passing wise but they have not produced together so why keep them. I like the Cat and Raymond together but we need to swap Perron with someone that can score and has speed.
@@DuffyTheGander they've scored 4 and given up 4 in 2 games together, plus the goal they gave up for the 2nd line on a bad change last game. so basically they're losing. it's a great stat padding line for some guys, not so great at actually helping the team tho.
If the caps lose once anyway out of 2, or the islanders loose twice (one must be in regulation) out of 2. Then the wings would be in, in a universe where they win out. Caps play bruins, and Flyers, islanders play devils and penguins.
Do not fall tonight boys over foolery. Get goals by playing the right way by causing traffic in front of the net and also stop the puck when on defense at whatever cost.
Me neither. But we really need this win tonight, and i believe best route to take is play Lyon tonight and Reimer on the road for the last game. I think Detroit wins both games against MTL.
There's no guarantee whether he will be terrible or good tonight. All I ask out of our goaltenders is keep the game tied worse case scenario no matter what even if the goal totals get crazy and also eat the god damn puck.
If the Coaching would have been a little better the wings would have been in the playoffs already, now they have to hope for loses from their competitors.
