It just so happens that I had a new bike day today, as I got my Nukeproof Scout 275 out of the box and sorted! I already scratched it myself, while over enthusiastically installing the dropper post. Yes I took photos that I sent to my friends, before proceeding to thrash it around the woods. I'm loving it! Oh, and it's funny to see Blake goofing around too.

Mine has dings here and there from when I've got a bit ambitious haha but to me that just shows I've been out and having fun and getting better. Better that than a bike that is pristine because it's never used if you ask me! Happy memories indeed! Loved the vid!

I was at Windhill the day Blake filmed this. The bike is ridiculously bright in the sun, the camera just can't capture it well enough. My comment of "oh, hi! Fuck me that's bright!" was genuine and made my riding buddy nearly wet himself 🤣

buy a frame and build it up, most fun thing you can do although it usually does cost more in comparison to a full spec

Yes, if you know what you are doing, can source parts and have the money it's a great way to build a bike exactly as you want it! We recently did this with our new hardtails 👉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Vl9CxE9BfPI.html Though most brands offer amazing completes now that already have great components. Blake built this bike up using the Myo program and added a few other parts after.

I don’t know how many times I’ve said what an awesome video, but this just broke the benchmark. Not only was it the best, but everyone out there fully relate to this and I’ve not laughed that much for ages (in a good way). Don't forget to take pics of the serial number and other custom stickers and parts. It will make it easier for authorities to identify your bike from the rest or (at least) for homeowners/renters insurance claims. Stay beautiful, Blake!😎

Just took delivery of my new Neuron SLX LTD. I hit a big rock on the very first downhill send, which resulted in a tiny tiny scratch in the chainstay paintjob, on the underside. The reaction in the video was spot on - absolutely hilarious!

Now this a great video Blake did a terrific job with it and since I got a Dual Suspension Mountain I’ve been focusing on doing jumps and try to get back in the trails again and all I gotta say getting a mountain bike is the best thing.

Recently had my new bike day, Mondraker Chaser R ebike. Got it home and fitted my grips, pedals, swapped tires to DHR & DHF & setup tubeless then rode it. On 2nd ride I chipped the paint, just like the video I heard it but didn’t make such a big deal over it 🤣 (chip perfectly placed to put a sticker over 👍🏻😎) I then wrapped it with invisframe. Since then I have replaced the shock & forks decals. Will now upgrade as and when parts wear out. Love my new bike.

Yep, first thing should be downtube protection.. I didn't think about it and after couple rides I had a big dent from a rock that popped from the front wheel. That should be in every new bike video

I chipped the top tube of my new bike when taking it off of the pad on my truck, lowering the tailgate with bike still attached the front wheel was turned and brake lever twisted over top tube making a nice scratch! I spent all day looking for white nail polish and fine sand paper for a DIY repair. It came out crappy. Now I’m going to put a sticker on so I can put it to rest! Geez..what is with the psychological aspects of the first ding on our new bikes?? LOL!!!!

Speaking of "new" bike, I recently upgraded a host of parts on my Haro Flightline Two. The only things original are the frame, wheels and hubs, calipers and rotors. It's like a brand new bike!

Been toying with he idea of going direct sales from China. So an Ican S3 or P1 frame with Elite or Far Sport wheels, to give a cost effective base on which to build a one-off rig. Would be great to see GMBN cover some "ahem" less aspirational brands!
