Bro, they didn't hire him to represent their brand. They hired him to do some work on building something they were giving away. He then used their brand to promote himself. Then turned up to the promotional event where the brand is trying to make everyone happy and expect to get treated like a VIP and skip a queue and piss of all the people who had been waiting.
