And it kinda works for hunting too. I can't tell you how much money I've spent so I can save money by shooting deer. Spent far, I mean by a long shot, far outweighs saved. So much money ran off when I spooked those deer.
Dang! I was wondering why my 42 year old John Deere 1050 4x4 3 cyl turbo diesel was still running perfectly after all these years and aint never been stuck in the snow or mud up here in the PNW. After watching Ginger Billy’s unpaid ‘Kuboter’ promotion here, I became reeeel suspicious. Gave me some idee’ers. Thought I had better investigate some. Ya’all know GB aint never lied ‘bout nothin’… ever! So I went out and scraped me a little of that JD green off the hood. Sure enough. GB was spot on! Under that paint and the JD logo was the name of the other Japanese tractor brand… “Yanmar”. 🤣😂🤣
@@whatsup7253 You got that right! Yeah sure their old garden tractors and stuff were quite a beast and highly capable back when Pluto was a planet. However that is not the case anymore. The quality has went way down and the price has sky rocketed. Plus we all know that that orange is so much sexier than that puke green and yellow, lol!
"Honey I'm going to treat you like a tractor pulling gravel on my driveway". I don't know what kind of reaction I'm going to get but I can't wait to find out, thanks Billy.
🤦♀️ … I do the maintenance on our gravel driveway (all 500 feet of it!) by hand with a rake… it’s been my dream to buy my husband a tractor for years. 😭
@@MandoMTL harsh. It’s not like the technicians engineered, developed, and distributed. They are just there to fix the aftermath. Besides, mechanics call unreliable equipment "job security."
In my part of Florida farm fields, it has gone from 95% John Deer to 95% Kubota in less than ten years. No one could afford to maintain a Deer or even work on them due to stupid self sabotaging computers.
I absolutely love my Kubota, I have the smallest cheapest TLB one and it is still life changing on the property. So far 5 years into it and no problems besides things I have done by accident lol.
yeah thats why kubota took over all the tlbs from deeres like the 110tlb wich only sold 10 110tlb units and discontinued wich deere no longer makes tlbs any more but kubota does and at affordble price
It’s funny how true everything is in this video. My dad has a small Kubota tractor that he’s had since the mid-80’s, and it’s still running. Got a John Deere in 07 to replace the one he had for 25 years at the time, but the new one kept breaking down. He got a big Kuboter in 2015, and he loves it. They don’t make John Deere’s the way they used to. You are paying for that green paint. Lmao
Before this video: I was a city-slicker through and through. After this video: I have transcended the boundaries of collective agricultural knowledge. Thank you for leading me unto Kuboter Trancendence.
OK, I'll bite. That's a gorgeous knock-off of my Allis-Chalmers, the REAL orange tractor. Sadly, they didn't have cabs, air-conditioning, or in my case (1961 D15) a seat cushion. Yeah, that's a nice rig, enjoy it!
Well, someone about 80k in the hole now. Have to say the cab is a great addition for the summer heat. Only thing that sucks is no matter how loud you turn the radio you can still hear the re-gen chirp
Still rocking 2 Ford Tractors from before I was born! Run great only have regular maintenance issues. Got one of those Blue New Holland tractors for the front hydraulics, but was used! Fords were the only tractors bought brand new by my Dad and GrandDad!
You do realize that whoever is making parts for companies are making them to that companies specs right? Also Kubota most definitely does not make all of their parts.
Ive tried every brand of tractor and iv'e never seen something break so often. Always something wrong, we got two brand new M7 at work. And now everyone knows the kubota mechanic on a first name basis, because hes literally there EVERY DAY since a year.
@@mrgw98 nope, it's garantied. So every time there's a code, something pops up in the dash or parts just break. We have a front mounted drive shaft on one of them, and the belt broke for the engine... You literally need to remover the entire front of the tractor to change the fuckin belt. It's ridiculous. The mechanic used to work for John deere and he says they are terrible to work on
Dude, you make my day better when I see you’ve got a new video. Love the tractor too. I’m still running my early 80’s L225 2wd Kubota that was my dad’s. Lol. It’s a little beast too. That cab is worth the money if you can afford it. Keep em coming brother!
I love kubota. I work at a dealer assembling kubota equipment (mostly tractors) and they seem very solid. I don’t know much about how long they last but when I see them in the shop it’s usually user error. Not much kubota equipment in the shop broken that’s treated right. As long as you treat it right I’m willing to bet it’ll last a long time 👍🏻 happy for ya bud
Absolutely amazing my King! I love all of your videos Sir, and I hope you are doing alright and staying safe King! I cannot wait to see your next video you bless us with!
It's the stuffed overalls for me!! It's a good idea to turn the tool box into a cooler. Man, this is hilarious!! I need Kubota to sponsor you!! This is great
Considering I’ve worked on John Deere, CAT, Kubota, and a few others. The top 2 are CAT and Kubota. Both are easy to work on, if & when you have to, general maintenance is simple easy. Nothing complicated about either one.
Kubota and Allis-Chalmers are the top tractors on the list of my favorite they are neck to neck with each other. 2nd place Deutz 3rd Ford 4th White 5th International 6th Case. The tractors I like the least is John Deere and Mahindra. That Kubota should last for years to come. Plan to get a l2501 2wd. To collect or restore a d17.
Showing LOVE for my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE CHANNEL PERIOD Thank You Mr Ginger Billy I'm a huge fan and my wife and I absolutely LOVE your channel. Have a Blessed day everyone
As someone that owns a shop John deer was the worst coming in for breaking down and it came in more than other brands. I would never buy anything John deer.
The old ones like my profile picture are sweet. The 20, 30, 40, 50, 55 series. I had a 4430 and a 4030. They are awesome. But I also had a 2008 6330 and that was the worst tractor I’ve ever used. It was always at deere being worked on. Piece of shit
One it's spelled Deere and some people don't seem to realize that you might think Deeres are broke down more because you see them all time or it might because of 70 percent of tractors in the united states are Deeres lol
@@nalley6815 I disagree I think homedudes on to somthin, I seen some statistics that showed the most sold tractor in the u.s and the number of John Deere tractors was farrrrr above anything else, it was even way above the second place tractor which I believe was Massey or new holland. Kubota was like number 5 lol And I’m not tryna be a dick but let’s use are heads here for a min… I haven’t heard of many random shops takin in tractors I mean 90% of ppl take it to a John Deere dealership… or whtever brand tractor they have the take it to that brand dealership, they know the tractor better than anyone plus most ppl still have warrantys which requires you to bring it back… I’f anybody else touches it it voids warranty.. so ofc there’s gonna be more John Deere’s in there shop it’s a damn John Deere dealership 😂 I don’t think y’all are lookin at the bigger picture… John Deere is masssssive… next to mahindra which is based in India and recently got popular in the u.s. it’s considered the most sold tractor world wide.. John Deere is just most sold in u.s. kinda crazy I didn’t think mahindra was that popular.. but then again they are fairly affordable tractors .. cheaper than John Deere for sure.
@@joshridgell4312 the original commenter said they own a shop, not a Deere dealer. Mahindra is only popular because India is huge and they’re Indian made and affordable if you can even call a tractor that
Kuboter costs what a John Deere does. I bought me one of them S Korean Kioti’s. Same pretty orange color. 10k cheaper. Them cows don’t care what you feed them with as long as they get their hay
@@mikemiller3007 If you have a good dealership it doesn't matter what color you got. We run orange and red and my kubota dealership will leave gates open for me, bring me parts to the field and if I call needing to know something they figure it out right then. I would follow them over if they were to switch to another brand because they are the best dealer I have ever worked with. I was buying a used tractor from them and they pulled in the shop to make sure it was ready for 500 hrs of baling and noticed the ac needed a bit and the radio sucked . They changed it out and had ready to go before I even pulled in because they knew what I expected
I've had my Kuboter since 2012 and it's never let me down. I've not had to change once part yet. Aside from keeping it clean, it hasn't even needed general maintenance. All the parts are original, even the tires if you can believe it! And I use it 5 days a week so it's no barn queen. And that orange paint is just awesome. Oh, did I mention my Kuboter is a mechanics toolbox??
2000 acres we have 3 and they run 600 hrs a year so......yea and all three cost less than a green one and the parts don't cost 60 percent more for green paint 😀
My dad has 100+ head of cattle and farms hay. Our only tractor is a kubota, we bought it new, and it has over 8000 hours on it over the course of 10 years. He doesn't care dog shit about it and it has never seriously broken down.
Got 2 pre computer masseys. The big one is rock solid. The little one, for getting into tight places is a rebadged japanese tractor and takes more work fixing, than running.
Billy youre hilarious! I will say Deere's do cost more but they have better resale value then your Kuboter tractor. I would put my Deere up against that Kuboter tractor any day!
These tractors are light asf I hauled 4 of these in a dryvan and wasn't over 15k gross. DOT sweared me up/down i couldn't fit 4 tractors in the box. So I bet'd him a clean inspection if I prove i had 4 in the box. Guess who gotta clean inspection! Lmao #tractorgang
My family has had our Kubota for 22 years. My parents bought it new in 2000. It is an L3010 model and has been a great tractor with zero issues. We had a neighbor that was all about John Deere tractors and we had to go rescue his John Deere on multiple occasions.
Kubota actually makes their parts. When it comes down to it Kubota really is the most American Tractor of the lot. Jd and NH would make their stuff in North Korea if the price was right.
Funny but I'll keep my john deere green . All tractors brake down it's all about how much use and how hard and if you service them. Still funny as hell 🤣 😂.
LOL At 1000hrs on my Kuboter 5200 its had 1 battery and normal services. Zero issues and the only complaint is the exhaust facing forward, and this year I cut a hole in the hood and pointed it up like a tractor exhaust is supposed to be. no more complaints.
