Oliver is here!!!!!!!!! 💙💙💙💙
I was scheduled to be induced Wednesday the 16th at 7:30 am.
I was feeling very discouraged about that as I wanted to approach labor and delivery naturally, he was 10 days late on the 16 and my doctor was worried about the meconium in his system and didn't want me to go past 10 days late.
Well! Tuesday the 15th came and went with no labor but on Wednesday the 16th at 12:30 am I went into labor!
I stayed home during the first phase of labor and arrived at the hospital at 3:00 am dilated to 5 cm.
labor progressed successfully and Ollie was born at 7:59 am completely naturally!
It was everything I wanted it to be!
It was the hardest and indeed the most pain I've ever felt in my life but I would do it all over again in a heart beat!! My husband was amazing support and never left my side.
Ollie was born with perfect health weighing 7 lbs 10 oz and 20.5 inches long.
They released us in the evening the next day on the 17th and this was everyone's first encounter ☺️.
I'm truly the happiest I've ever been and I'm so thankful for everyone's encouragement, support, love, and kindness through my pregnancy! You're all amazing!! 💜💙💗
Everyone is getting along SO well (from a safe distance of course) Ollie doesn't react a bit to the loud noises and sleeps right through lol.
Although Gotcha and Letty have been INCREDIBLE and been relatively on the more quiet side, Gotcha hasn't thrown a tantrum yet! Lol
But thankfully when he does the nursery is on a different level of the house and the sound is dampened enough that it would be easy for Ollie to sleep through. 🙏🏻 😄😉
Anyways I hope you enjoy the video and thank you again from those who supported encouraged and loved on us. I wish I could hug you all! Lol
I will continue to make videos when I can between mothering my newborn and continuing to give the remainder of my love to the animals! ☺️💜

DO YOUR RESEARCH before adopting a bird. They are a LIFETIME COMMITMENT!
I cannot stress enough how heartbreaking this sad truth is.... Too many people impulse buy parrots because of cute or funny traits they've seen in other birds.
A life stuck in a cage is cruel and so unfair to these magnificent beautiful creatures.
They deserve the absolute best!
If you are interested in a parrot, adopt one because you have the time, money, patience, energy and if you want to save them from a life stuck behind bars, not solely because they are cute or funny or talk etc.
Again parrots are a LIFETIME commitment.
They can live up to 80+ years!! Which means they just might outlive you, and where will they go if something happens to you and one day you don't come home? What will happen to them? Who will love them and care for them? All things to consider....
I've given up many many things to give my two parrots and other animals the best life they can possibly have!
It is an honor to share our lives with these amazing creatures, remember that....
Please do your research before adopting.
After all, we have our friends, our jobs, and our hobbies.
