Gotham Knights Cutscene - Dick Grayson & Barbara Gordon in the Belfry 

Barbra is like “all four of us are the main characters” Grayson is over there correctly assuming the “yeah, but I’m the main character of the main characters”

It's so weird in the comics everyone often calls her Babs but this is like the first time I've heard it be spoken out loud before. This makes me feel hopeful for this game honestly

We know couple of new things 1. Dick and Barb were togother in this universe 2. Dick probably inheritated Bruce's fortune 3. Bruce and Dick weren't getting along when he died

I love how they reference Nightwing's ass. It's such a weird running joke in the DC universe but it's pretty funny.

While the more recent trailers have been fire, Dick’s always been my favorite character and this got me excited to play as him again.

Graphics are a bit stiff, but honestly as long as the story is good, gameplay is fun, and the characters are respected I can get over it.

They got the cereal thing right from the comics!!! That’s fantastic, that and the ass jokes. They’re really doing this characters justice

Dick Grayson has some definite "eldest sibling inheriting a big legacy" problems, but at least he has a support network in Babs, Tim and Jason. Bruce had no one but Alfred for the longest time. I like the way the actor is playing this angle, but I think I need to see Bat Girl a little more before I'm comfy with her new voice and new characterization. No, it's not the "walking after months of rehabilitation" that is giving me trouble; it's the "kid sister that swears a lot in order to sound strong than she feels" note in the dialogue deliveries that is throwing me off. That doesn't sound like the Barbara Gordon Bat Girl I know, from the Arkham games, from post 2000 comics, or even from The Batman, the youngest I've seen the character portrayed.

Friendly reminder that graphics alone do not make a game. They only help. The gameplay/story is what contributes to replayability above anything else. There are games decades old that have more love, care, effort, and sweat put into them than most modern games. Why we always go back to them.

got to admit the facial animations could be better but it looks good

Well don't get me wrong. But I think this game still needs more time in the oven. The dialogue is alright. Nightwings cake reference was funny. But the animations keep me from feeling emotional in those cutscenes.

Fight Night Champion still looks awesome after all these years! They are truly pushing the PS3's and Xbox 360's limits with this release!

I’m still hyped for this game because it still looks like a lot of fun, but I feel like I’m watching WWE 2K20 MyCareer cutscenes

It’s moments like this that are really gonna make this game’s story. Really focusing on the relationships between these characters and how they all cope with losing they’re mentor and father figure

I think the hate is unjust to be honest. The graphics do not look bad at all. They don’t “look like a 2014 game”. You’re just hating for no reason. The facial animations are not the best, but literally watch the 16 minute gameplay and tell me it looks “like a ps3 game”😐

Im so having batgirl in this gameplay. I love what they did with her design. Its really good here. I was gonna go with batgirl and red hood, but seeing this. I am definitely playing as nightwing and batgirl.

For myself personally it’s all about the gameplay. Even if the graphics do look a little robotic, I am more than willing to look passed it if the gameplay is on point.

It’s hard to go backwards. It’s like growing up with the X-Men and being used to a certain tone and presentation with all that. And then you get the rated R Deadpool or Logan. That shit is fucking awesome and so much more authentic and genuine to the source material that you are just here for it, all the way. And then the next Deadpool or Logan/X-Men comes out and it’s the PG-13 version. You can’t help but have a knee-jerk reaction to that, a “ I don’t want that“ kind of reaction because it’s tone down, it’s less than what you have already witnessed and experienced with the more genuine/authentic rated r version. And naturally you want more of that, not some less than. that for me is what rocksteady and the Arkham series brought to the table. They showed and gave you a authentic and genuine source material experience of a rated r Batman/ Gotham world n chars that going back to a WB PG-13 tone down version is Not it. Gotham Knights has potential but we know because it’s WB and has been both confirmed and revealed to be the tone down PG-13 version, it’s going to be less than. It’s not going to be as authentic as rock steady would have made it. And I can’t help but notice and see it with these trailers or gameplay exerts or cut scenes stuff like this. I want to get into this But I know it’s not going to be the authentic/genuine version that I have already experienced and thoroughly enjoyed. So yeah, I don’t know… Whatever

There’s graphics quality and then there’s art style. This and the Arkham games clearly have a different art style so comparing the graphics is ridiculous

Considering how the Batman Court of Owls creator liked the game and its story, I am pretty hopeful the story will be good. I don’t know about the game mechanics and side missions.

Boi what the freak are these graphics 😭 I’m trying to get hyped for this game but this kinda took a toll. And don’t even hit me with the “It’s not about graphics, it’s about gameplay” argument, it’s 2022 and we’re playing these games on 4K consoles (PS5/Series X) plus, Arkham Knight did it better and that was years ago on weaker platforms

That pause in “you don’t have to do it all…………dumbass” just seemed long lol. Only minor thing I noticed but overall I found this to be pretty cool. I like their dynamic.

I hope that when Batman Arkham Videos makes a full game walkthrough of Batman: Arkham Origins next year, he also wraps things up for the extortion tape locations and complete everything that must be done to complete the enigma most wanted side mission as he never finished it back in 2013/2014 and it still remains incomplete to this day.
