Imagine being a police officer in Gotham City there's supervillains ninjas secret society and they still pay you next to nothing

Came back to cleanse my eyes after the new game play demo. Went from looking like an Arkham game to a Marvel's Avengers copy.

Oh god, please don’t be like Avengers.

Hope we can get Red Hood’s classic Brown Jacket as an Outfit or even his cool red camouflage outfit from Arkham Knight as a secrete unlockable.

Batman: “I cannot attack Freeze head on, he’s too dangerous. I must use the environment and strategy to stop him.” Batgirl and Robin years later: “OMG MR FREEZE! LEEEROOOOOY JENKIIIINNNSSSS!!!!!!”

This just makes me more sad that we can’t legitimately free roam with all characters in Arkham knight, that game would be so good with a multiplayer format like this

Why is gameplay from a year ago the best look of the game..

At some point you'd think the Justice League or the ARMY would be coming to help Gotham.

Batman: I only wear black and dark greys to be stealthy. Everyone else: lets put RGBs on our gear!

We all criticized this game when it went out. And yes, it has its flaws. But now that we have SSKTJL... Perhaps we treated it too harshly...

How does this older gameplay look better lol

I’m worried about the game’s enemies having levels. Throwing higher level enemies at the player that have more health and do more damage is the laziest way to make the game harder. There are so many creative ways to make enemy encounters harder than just leveling them. That what I love about the Arkham games - as you go throughout the game you are introduced to new enemy types which make each enemy encounter more complicated and tough. Some good examples are the stun baton soldiers or the soldiers with shields. That is a creative and fun way to make enemy encounters harder, while leveling enemies does nothing but frustrate the player.

Batman at the end of the game: my death was greatly exaggerated

Everything here looks so much more appealing and fun than the demos that have released recently. Really hope this mission still appears in the official release

As with my fellow gamers who actually have taste, I have also come back here after viewing the monstrosity that is the new demo

Me: All I ask is that we don’t have 440 Riddler trophies please WB: Done! We now have an astounding 783 Riddler trophies in game! (I’m pretty sure 440 is the number in Arkham City, I collected them all and it was one of the most annoying things I’ve ever done in a game)

Honestly if any Batman family member can short range boom tube all over the city it would be Tim Drake

Plot twist: batman faked his death in an explosion for the third time and is now enjoying retirement with cat woman

This felt like the player knows what he is doing unlike the nightwing and red hood demo

The gameplay looks so good but the newest gameplay looks garbage

First of all, "This is not an Arkham series game". I'm kind of excited for this, I do expect a great storyline as the Arkham games had. The court of owls is one of my favourite arcs in batman. But yeah this footage is a 'pre-alpha' build we need to keep in mind and look how it unfolds in future. I'm happy that instead of showing a CG trailer, they decided to show their work in progress.

Here after the recent nightwing and red hood gameplay reveal trailer and I gotta say... We've been tricked, we've been backstabed. We've been quite possibly bamboozled

I hope they get rid off the “Borderlands/Assassin Creed” style damage points that pop up during combat. Not needed.

i really love batgirl's design in this demo. i think her cowl and the white eyes look super sick! also its pretty weird how both batgirl and robin are cracking jokes and bantering while hundreds of people are being frozen to death...

Nightwing and Redhood are gone be my two mains they was always my favorites from the bat family

i like the idea of barbara gordon using a night stick as a weapon considering her father was a police officer and it does help distinguish her fighting style like nightwings metal stun batons, time drakes staff and red hoods dual pistols and honestly i hope barbara gordon uses a night stick as a weapon in all future forms of dc entertainment she appears in including the comics, games and animated shows and movies

As long as I can choose to play Red Hood every mission, I'm sold. Edit: I hit the gold mine of a good opinion, seems like people really like Red Hood.

After rewatching this I’m positive the person they got to do the gameplay for the nightwing/red hood showcase was just trash. This looks 10x more fluid than the most recent reveal.

I love the background and level designs. But the player graphics has taken a step back compared to Arkham Knight.

I’m not so sure how I feel about the whole, really advanced justice league, technology kinda stuff but I can’t wait to see what their gonna do with it.

So you introduce a levelling system but the player doesn't actually get stronger because the boss just scales with your current level. So what's the point in a levelling system then?

I know this is petty but the fact that they changed alfreds voice actor hurts me

I really hope Robin can glide like Batgirl. I know he has his teleportation, but that's so much less interesting and fun for traversal in my opinion, and I wanted to main Robin.

Why didn’t the game look like that

not gonna lie seeing enemy levels doesn’t fill me with confidence at how this game will turn out (i.e expecting EXP boosts via microtransactions and similar scummy practices)

I see enemy level indicators. Not sure how I feel on that. Could lead to damage sponge enemies and being killed instantly by random grunts cos you just don’t have the numbers to tank a hit. Also if your enemies keep pace with your leveling then what’s the point?

This is way better than what y’all just released

Dynamic difficulty scaling is the thing that keeps me up at night.

"An important element of Gotham Knights is that when the player increases in power and ability, their foes keep pace." Then why have a level system at all? Just have variable difficulty.

My favorite things about the Batman games was the combat. I would spend hours just in the challenge maps building up those combos. Switching up the mechanics to something slower where enemies are basically these sponges seems like a step backward.

Honestly I was hyped up until I saw that the enemies had a level. But it does look like a better version of the marvel avengers game with batman(s)

It looks like there is a character leveling system... please tell me it's not going to be like the more modern AC games where enemies 3 levels above you are like end game bosses... (I'm exaggerating a bit here.) Please dear god let this game be good...

I really can do without the level and looting system.

The lite-RPG elements such as enemy levels, damage numbers and looting are totally unnecessary and raise many red flags. We went down this path with Assassin's Creed already :( No need to over complicate it.

Just as long as I don't see any riddler trophies, I think I'll have a good time with this.

The fact that they edge walk everywhere in this gets me every time.

Hope enemies don’t feel like damage sponges that take tons of damage even with the best gear.

Why do so many people hate on leveling/looting systems? I thinks makes the characters feel more like your own.
