Have had this scooter for a year and a half now and use it for college commuting from class to class as well as grocery runs. The motor sound has been a constant issue since the first month of use and I have heard it with other scooters on campus so I guess it's a budget motor thing. Seemed like you got a better one of the bunch as I have had to personally change breaks, fenders, cables, and bolts that hold the rear axle in place for multiple scooters on campus. battery has held up surprisingly well as yours has so that is a big plus. Still, an amazing scooter to get into the hobby with. God Bless
I bought this scoot for my 10 year old daughter. Id say and average scooter for an adult but an epic ride for a 70 pound 10 year old girl. It can climb up hills for her that my fat bottom can barely walk up.
Crazy how loud that sounds, I’ve had mine for a week now and when I first got it it was silent but now it has a very slight sound kind of like this sound but right now it’s not to bad
I bought my son the Gotrax Apex about 2 years ago. It has about 230 miles on it and its held up well but the battery is dying quicker... i guess its to be expected. He has an ebike now so it doesnt get ridden much.
I own this same scooter it’s not that good…if your motor sounds like it’s grinding you should change it out before it just goes on you I had it happen because I just ignored it
@@Myksgarage you would have to buy a new one take off the side covers to the front wheel it’s requires Allen keys and a wrench it’s very simple make sure you have loctite to put on the post after you swap it so the nuts don’t come loose
