@@manupkp I mean right before the shrug he does some normal celebratory fist pumping, then does the shrug, and then he goes to the more normal celebratory smiles and hugs, so I'm confused as to whether he's truly in a "whatever" mood or just puts it on for show.
@@pauljmorton Finnish “way” of being. You don’t want to draw too much attention to yourself, and usually excitement is shown modestly. His initial instinct is so celebrate, but he probably didn’t wanna see too boastful/cocky/inconsiderate of the goalie, so he immediately tried to play it off. Then his teammates start hyping him up, so he lets himself celebrate again because he realises this is North American hockey, and modesty isn’t expected of him - a more elaborate celly is. Most Finns are very “real” - what you see is what you get, and they are very honest. Not many are going to try to “put on a show”/fake who they are for clout/fame and recognition.
