Our second day in Saguaro National Park, we do a loop hike in the Tucson Mountain District on the west side, hiking the Gould Mine Trail, visiting the abandoned copper mine, check out the backcountry Mam-a-Gah Picnic Area, and search for Hohokam Indian petroglyphs in Kings Canyon Wash. All a close drive from Tucson, Arizona.

Yes, dear viewers, I am aware of my mispronounciations of the words "Tucson" and "saguaro." Trust me when I say, I don't care! 🤣 I can't tell you how many times I've heard people mispronounce my home of Lafayette, and I always let it slide, because they are simply pronouncing what they read. So am I. 🤷‍♂️

that was awesome. very interesting hike and seeing the views and old outhouse up there was awesome. he he. and oh yes, that little cactus in the rock and also, the native american rock art.

Thank you for taking me on your adventure. Love that place ! The petroglyphs were bigger than usual. Had grids like some others i just watched. Wonder what those grids mean.

Funny thing, I actually googled how to pronounce Hohokam. Didn't even think to look up Tucson or saguaro, as I had no idea I was pronouncing them wrong!
