Lotus Flower Crisp is made using a technique similar to flaky pastry which is a common cooking technique in Chinese pastry. The principle is to add butter or lard between every two layers of pastry. But the tools used often from the most simple ones that have been around hundreds of years, to the fanciest of hight tech gadgets, they fundementally do the same thing, even if its faster or more effiecient in some ways for newer stuff, its still possible if the same effect is created.

I personally think it's not really about loving, I might be wrong, but since they're chinese they obviously know the most about their own culture and to properly showcase other regions' tradition they would have to contact outsiders, which they could do, especially since I don't think they lack the money to do such things, but I guess it comes down to how willing they are. Man thes types of videos really do help with the world building of genshin, even outside of the game. Its things like this that help players feel more immersed and connected with the cultures of that fictional world while also showcasing culstures from real places in a new way.
