Appreciated the thoroughness of the presentation. Had just bought this model/brand this morning, and like the tutorial. Also, was surprised that you could pause and check on things without disrupting the cooking cycle much. The lack of a light didn’t bother me at all, it is light from the heat elements, and easy to keep an eye on stuff while it cooks. (And I do love the French doors.)
i got one for Christmas and i love it. use either wire rack or basket for cooking pizza, if you use the bake pan as suggested, the pizza will stick to it and is a real hassle to get out of the bake pan. Other than that, it is awesome. cooks evenly and is way faster than using a conventional oven.
Comprehensive overlook, thank you. I will watch your 30-day review now and the Ninja you showed since Costco has them side by side. The biggest thing I felt was missing was a comparison to a "classic" basket air fryer.

Good points, I have a feeling Gourmia made these more for baking rather then air frying. The inside definitely looks more like a convection oven over an air fryer
Excellent review!! I do have Silver model BTF7465 which is very good. Only downside is it doesn't have a capacity of a 13-inch pan. Even though, a fantastic model unit & use the air fryer almost daily!! Great presentation Darnel !!! 👍
Thank you, We just purchased our oven air fryer today. We didn't understand why the fan kept staying on. Until I looked up your video. It was so help. I have t the another Gourmia air fryer the pull out basket. I notice on the preheat. I just it stop and start again and the preheat turns off. I haven't tried it on this one yet
Hi. Just purchased this oven but have not tried it out yet. Waiting on a silicone mat to put under it for . I appreciate your review. Little tidbit comments and ideas that will keep me from getting frustrated when something may not go as planned. I know it will take some getting used to. Felt the instructions were a bit misleading and really didn't show a whole lot. Nice having the recipe book but I am a picky eater and none of it is anything I would cook. 😃I am assuming that you can a regular recipe, just making sure you use a glass pan. Thanks again.
i love mine, i just used it to bake a home made pizza, i put it on the bake pan on top of parchement paper and pre-baked the "dough", then i took it out and added all my ingredients and threw it in for 10 more minutes. I cooked it on convection oven though, not pizza mode.
Another great review. I like your addition of the time lapse cooking. Something satisfying about watching biscuits rise in time lapse. LOL. I like the look and function of French doors on a cooker but I'd pass on that one. Way too small inside and it looks like the fan for air fry leaves a lot to be desired. Of course I'm spoiled from my Ninja Foodie XL Pro...
Does your pan have holes on the sides, as shown in the pictures? Mine pan does not have those holes, and may have a slightly larger cooking surface area; bought at early Black Friday sale at Walmart on November 12, 2021.

I really appreciated your thorough review. I am looking for an new toaster oven that dehydrates small items since I live in a small space and this seems to fit the bill. If I can have 2 in one why buy a separate dehydrator? Every appliances has their pros and cons and the rest of the ovens are too small or too expensive for my purse. I can only ask one question. I know you measured the interior of the unit but could you give us the exact measurements of the actual racks and pans from side to side and width. If I wanted to purchase an extra pan or basket everyone says 12" but some are 12" and a bit and some are just under. It would be good to know exactly how long the pan needs to be to either catch on the indentations to hang on the sides to slide in and out or if the pan or basket I am looking at has handles that don't fold and would be way too long. I thank you for the time you put into this review. It was greatly extememly helpful.

We have one. Even though it's a great product. The only problem is that it leaks from underneath. Apparently when you use the air fryer. Whatever you have cooking splatters inside and runs down the inside wall into the area where the fan is. Then continues to find it's way to our countertop. Is there any way to stop this?
I believe you should deduct the bottom and top rod measurements from the total inner height of the cooking space since your trays will not be cooking from the floor of the ovens. So I am guessing you deduct 1/2" or so from your total inner height measurement which should be around 7" of cooking height space. Also, the actual oven temperature with the other digital thermometer vs what it says on the selected temp on the oven is a big difference especially if you're baking any breads, muffins, cookies, etc. TY for doing this thorough demonstration of cooking, measurements, and comparisons for those of us still on the fence about which is the best air fryer oven to buy. Keep your testing videos coming! :)
Just picked one of these up, seems like we maybe overpaid a bit from the sale a few months back but oh well. So far so good, but we really would like to turn off the beep. It is so loud! Has anyone had any luck figuring this out?

I Bought the Air Fryer & apparently it was a Return @ Walmart & they took the Manual Recipe Book etc . I hardly use it only mostly as a Toaster & now I'm stuck trying to figure it out. I'm 63 with Brain Surgery 😢
After posting my comment on your Gourmia oven, I looked at your channel and OMG you have tried so many ovens. It's unbelievable. Do manufacturers send them to you for review? So I ask you as I know you will tell us the truth. If you had to pick only one countertop oven out of all you have tested which one do you feel is the one you'd pick and pass on the others. Quality accuracy in temp and the most useful features. I would be so happy for your well-informed opinion as we all can't buy scores of them to decide which is really a top-quality oven without spending 4-500.00 dollars. I would love to hear your reply. I have tried the broiler. It heated both bottom and top. I think it is very strange because it supposed to heat on top element only. Please try and give me some comments, thanks

I'd be baking that pizza on bake pan or wire rack with the pan/rack upside down. That way you wouldn't have it rise up on the edges of the pan/rack, and would be easier to get out with the pizza peel.
When cooking using this toaster oven/ air fryer. How long does it take to cook? Is it quicker than a conventional oven? What would be the trade off other than this and an oven or a real air dryer, etc. I guess I'm trying to find out is it a type of instant pot but in oven form? Edit: and how has it held up over time, any problems?
I just discovered your channel. I was in Cosco today looking at that exact oven. It does seem they have redesigned the control panel. I'm so g;ad I saw your great video because I questioning if I will get this one. Here's why. Early in your video, you set the temp to 450 but it heated to well over 500. That did not impress me at all. The panel read 450 but your temp gauge again read well over 500. That means the thermostat is way off on this oven. When you cooked the chicken nuggets you set them at 450 for 20 minutes. You checked them at 10 minutes and they already looked done and even the tips and edges looked overcooked and maybe chared. So my question is what was the real temp at that phase. I was thinking it was again way over 450 and maybe over 500. I was hoping you would do a second TRUE temp test. You knocked 9 minutes off the cooking time and if you hadn't the nuggets would have been burned beyond use. It appears that you can't rely on the temp and risk food burning. I noticed your buskets got brown awful fast risking the inside of them coming out a bit doughy. All in all you went through a lot of effort testing this oven. That is a big credit to you. This video was posted over a year ago and I'm wondering if they have fixed the problem or if it's still the same. If they haven't I think I'll keep looking. would love to see an update on your experience with this oven after 19 months. Thanks for sharing a great video for all of us.
@@marytate2314 chocolate chip cookies. Convection on, crispy and very browned on top. Convection off, softer cookies, less browning on top. Really your best bet is to experiment with things you like to eat and see what gets you the results you want.
My toast only toasted on one side. Is that common? Also, if 450 degrees is actually 518 degrees, is 300 degrees actually 360+/_? And what is that you used to bake biscuits on?
