Has this improved with HomeKit ?can some1 help me with a neon look light strip for kids room that works with Apple home kit and Apple Siri speaker? Please help
I am having the exact same HomeKit issues as you did 😭 I have a ticket in with Govee right now but so far no response. Can I ask how did you reset the light strip? The directions for that aren’t clear at all. What is a “long press” of the power button? And when you press the “second button” (guessing they mean the middle of the 3 or the mode switching button) 4 consecutive times, were you holding down the power button the whole time, or did you long press the power button, then release it and then 4 short presses of the mode button?
A long press is a press and hold. I followed the instructions to reset the light strip but I must say it was very difficult to reset it and took multiple tries before going through.
If there is no qr code number that you showed how can i add cos i don’t have it i checked everywhere in the box in the user manual also that cord just only qr code without numbers. Lol
I cut my strip into 5 parts in the cut-off points. But I can't seem to connect all of them using Matter, so only the 1st strip connected to the power supply works. It says I "need a hub to control this device for matter" Do you know how I could make this work? Thanks!
Thanks for the reply! :D No I don't have a matter hub/controller. Are there a few matter devices you would recommend? I'm actually still confused as to how matter works. I've cut the 5meter M1 strip into 5 strips, does buying a matter hub mean that I can simultaneously control all 5 strips? Or have a made a mistake by cutting the strips in the first place?@@AdamsTechLife
