This is their much awaited reaction to losing to the Norwegian government. A minor who has committed a serious sin under the age of 18 will be visited by 2 elders, so a loving shepherding call, not a judicial matter. And the parents will take care of their child, so long as the minor cooperates. This I believe will allow for the minor to stealthily and quietly have the freedom to leave the witnesses without being disfellowshipped and shunned. Then they can get their grants back. That’s was this is really about!

You are not alone. Im in but so hard to go. This Sunday I bet all elder wives will be wearing pants like the elders who grew beards. Im just trying to be on jehovahs side. The Bible was preserved for us for a reason.
I changed congregation, I go every two weeks, only sundays. I come late, leave right after the amen, so they won’t ask me who am I and what group I belong to. So far it works very well for 2 years. I would NEVER go to a committee meeting.
One thing I took away from it, reading between the lines and the general vibe, is that basically save for those "wrongdoers" that are totally obstinate and defiant, and of course for apostates, there will be no more disfellowshipping. All they seem to want is the person to say they are repentant, act sad and change their ways. Then, a little slap on the wrist and we move on. They have way too much bad press over this and if they don't change, governments will take serious action.
In the summer online convention of 2021, Jehovah’s Witness governing body member David Splaine gave a very desperate talk about apostasy. In it he said: “that we should not even so much as listen to anyone who says anything that is not from the scriptures, or is not part of the healthful teaching that Jehovah’s Witnesses believe.” In John 6, Christ Himself says something so disgusting to His Jewish audience, that the people said His speech was shocking. These are His disciples, and many leave off following Him. JW’s are taught that those who disagree with this healthful teaching are apostates. The governing body of JW's don't seem to understand the difference between apostasy and heresy. In his talk, David Splaine says that the moment we realise that what a person says is not what we have been taught or not in the bible, then we should get away from them immediately. But Peter tells Jesus upon His asking that He will not leave following Him. JW's today would not listen to anyone who said that we should eat flesh or drink blood, so, had we lived back then and obeyed the GB, we no doubt would have left off following Jesus as well! Therefore, we must listen to what a person says, and hear them out. Ask questions of them. They may have a point. We will only know if they are speaking truth if we hear their words, and compare what they say with the Holy Scriptures. Jesus listened three times to the greatest apostate in history! He didn’t tell the devil to go away after the first temptation. Paul wrote that not even angels can separate us from God. So if JW's are the only ones that possess the truth, what are the GB so afraid off?
I always believed but apparently abandoned when I was a JW that only God can read hearts so why would we think elders can tell & determine if someone is repentant. Such arrogance. The new policy about greeting a DF person & not really interacting is so ridiculous it’s just more embarrassing decisions ugh!

After one too many abuses from the elders at a meeting I told them loudly I was leaving and that was that!. But I had good 'worldly' neighbours, so I wasn't bereft. With love to you and your mum. I’m like Are they just now reading the Bible??? Their aha moments are identifiable by a child reading the scriptures. I also suffered thru a couple judicial committees. It's crazy how there is never any mercy. Even if you get private reproof there is still punishment. No grace. The things they asked you are crazy. One of the jc I endured I was judged by an elder who I now as an adult realize was probably grooming me as a younger teenager- touching me a lot but not in inappropriate places, but a married elder touching a teenage girl's arms/shoulders/back etc 9 to 11 times in a 5 min conversation and never in front of his wife or my parents rings alarm bells to me now. It messed with my head as a teen and I just avoided him and I prayed he would stop and thankfully he did eventually. And then I thought surely it must just be in my head, especially after I heard him tell someone else that adultery was wrong, (and he was a decorated brother who was looked up to by many.) 🤦♀️
I was in that humilating experience too. Being in front of 3 men that asks those types of questions. And to sit there in the kingdim hall while they announced your sentence to death. Your experiences and feelings are very relatable.

Cultures in countries differ and you got to live abroad with a variety of cultures to understand what I mean. America is a small spec of the entire world. That is what the GB member was referring to.
In at least once country, what America call pants, they call trousers and pants to them mean underwear. So, to them. the GB member said women are now allowed to wear underwear to the kingdom hall.

Social ostracism, shunning even of closest family members continue. Rutherford JW’s do not preach the good news that Jesus and the apostles preached. The successive members of the governing body of Jehovah’s Witnesses teach and have taught, that when speaking of the other sheep at John 10:16, Jesus had in mind non anointed Christians who would live 19 centuries in the future, and would belong only to a single tiny religious group. This is blasphemy, and maligns Gods mercy and love, because the most famous verse in all of Gods word namely John 3:16, says that He loved THE WORLD so much that He gave His Son. It does not say He did so only for JW’s! The other sheep were those of the Gentiles taken as born again Christians, Cornelius being the first. Therefore, the other sheep He referred to are also the Great Crowd of Revelation 7:9, the 2nd fruits of ANOINTED humans whose reward is heavenly life. No man can number them, for only Christ knows who they are, and He is not a man. He is our spirit King of Kings! Many are in His memory and lie in their graves, or have returned to the dust of the ground. Unlike the Israelites, this group come from all nations, tribes etc. So there are two groups, but only the one hope. Therefore, the 144,000 cannot be literal, because the second group are too numerous to number by any man. And how many faithful Israelites were there? More than 144,000? Jehovah will keep His promise to include them in His kingdom of priests. We want God to keep His promise to Christians even though many claiming to be Christian are not obedient. So likewise, He will keep His promise to faithful Israelites even though many did not keep their promise to Him. Here is the account of their agreement with God: Exodus 19:5 Now if you will strictly obey my voice and keep my covenant, you will certainly become my special property out of all peoples, for the whole earth belongs to me. 6 You will become to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you are to say to the Israelites.” 7 So Moses went and summoned the elders of the people and declared to them all these words that Jehovah had commanded him. 8 After that all the people answered unanimously: “All that Jehovah has spoken, we are willing to do.” Moses immediately took the people’s response to Jehovah. This explains why Jesus told the woman at the well that salvation starts with the Jews. When God made this covenant with the Israelites, did He have in mind exactly 144,000, and then everyone else would be excluded from His promise? This is the problem that JUDGE Rutherford found himself in during the late 1920’s and early 1930’s. In the 1920’s the number of witnesses had risen from about 17,000 to 100,000 because he was teaching that the end was coming in 1925. After his failed prediction of 1925, the number of witnesses returned to about 17,000. He spent the rest of his years building it back up to 100,000. He must have realised that if you include those Christians in the first century, and those in Russell’s time and in between, it wouldn’t be long until some bright spark came along to point out that there are more anointed Christians than a 144,000! Why, in the first three centuries, Christianity had grown to about 7,000,000. 2,000,000 were martyred. This was why Constantine took the action he did. So Rutherford, instead of admitting he’d got this wrong as well as his predicted end date, invented a second group of Christians who were non anointed. This is against the inspired word of God which clearly states there is only one hope. Ephesians 4:4 One body there is, and one spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. When Paul was inspired to write these words to the Ephesian congregation about the one hope, did he have in mind a secret meaning that would only be known 19 centuries in the future, and only to a select few, and secretly meant the inclusion of a second hope? Is this what Almighty God had in mind when He inspired Paul to write it? Verse 6 says that God is the Father of all. Incidentally, were not those 2,000,000 martyred early Christians born again, and therefore in line to be kings and priests, proving again that the 144,000 is not literal? And the other 5,000,000 also, who did not die violent deaths! Rutherford taught that the number of the anointed was now sealed, when today we clearly see that it is not. He changed the gospels message. There are thousands taking the emblems today who were born well after the so called sealing of the 1930’s. So why would God provide new light concerning the sealing of the anointed in the ‘30’s, only to change it later? JW’s GB teach that one of the reasons the trinity is false is because the teaching didn’t come into being until after the last of the apostles, namely John died in 98CE, and is therefore part of the great apostasy Paul was inspired to write about. How strange that they do not apply the same reasoning to the addition Joseph Rutherford made to the good news in the 1930”s, of the second hope that righteous non anointed Christians will live forever on earth, provided of course they are obedient to Christ brothers, supporting them in preaching Rutherfords version of it. This is against the Christian Greek scriptures teaching of only the one hope. This false teaching was also made after the last apostle died, and further into the great apostasy, and made Rutherford forever accursed for adding to the good news as Paul was also inspired to write about. The GB of JW”s actually teach that one of the anointed already in heaven gave this teaching to the anointed. Rutherford wrote that he heard it from angels inside his head! Rutherford also taught at that time that the Holy Spirit which Christ said would be as a helper and with us forever, was no longer needed because He had become King in 1914! That would therefore make an anointed one in heaven also accursed for adding to the good news. Was this new teaching what God had in mind? Did He tell one of the 24 elders to tell it to Rutherford, knowing that it would make him accursed. That would be unkind of God to do so which of course is impossible. Also, since when has God ceased from communicating His messages with any person on Earth without using Jesus Christ? Why would God allow it in the first place when He inspired Paul to write that any addition to the good news even from an Angel from heaven would make the one doing so accursed! So the question is begged, who was communicating with Rutherford? Galatians 1:6 I am amazed that you are so quickly turning away from the One who called you with Christ’s grace to another sort of good news. 7 Not that there is another good news; but there are certain ones who are causing you trouble and wanting to distort the good news about the Christ. 8 However, even if we or an angel out of heaven were to declare to you as good news something beyond the good news we declared to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, I now say again, Whoever is declaring to you as good news something beyond what you accepted, let him be accursed. How fitting this is for what Rutherford did. It happened in the first century. So bad it was that Paul had to write that anyone doing so was accursed! Interestingly he said “even if we” change the good news, they were not to listen to them. So why is it that the GB think they can change the good news and not be accursed? Once Paul was inspired to write down Gods thoughts, it could never be changed. Christ said that the reward for the righteous sheep recorded in Matthew 25, was to inherit the Kingdom prepared for them from the founding of the world. Yet the GB teach that around 6,000 years ago, at this founding, He had in mind this same tiny group of non anointed Christians. This is crazy! This means that thousands of years before the unveiling of the sacred secret concerning the seed of Gods woman, including Christ and the bride of Christ’s anointed brothers, Jesus was prophesying about non anointed Christians 6 millennia in the future! And that these non anointed ones reward would depend on their deeds of devotion to Christ anointed brothers whom Jesus had not yet spoken of! Plus, I’m sure the bible says that salvation is only possible by Christ’s name. Matthew 24 and 25 have other parables such as the faithful and evil slave, the talents and virgins all depicting the anointed children of God. This is also the case with the sheep and goats parable. What did Jesus have in mind when He uttered these words that their salvation is dependant on how they treat their own brothers in acts of mercy? Only sons can inherit, not friends of God as the GB teach. The GB try to get over all of this by falsely teaching that the sheep inherit the earthly realm of the kingdom. They teach this knowing full well that Christ told Pilate that His kingdom was no part of this world. Therefore, there is no earthly realm of Christ’s kingdom! It must also be remembered that 1 Corinthians 15:50 says: But I tell you this, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s Kingdom, nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Therefore, how can an imperfect non anointed human inherit Gods kingdom? The lie has to be continued to prop up Rutherford’s original lie about a second earthly hope for non anointed Christians. This is a contradiction in terms for the word Christian is derived from the meaning of anointed one!
