Govt of Tamil Nadu has recently launched new Deep Sea Tuna Long Liner Boats for fishermen of Rameswaram, with the help of subsidy assistance from Govt of India. These vessels are designed by CIFT and built by Cochin Shipyard Ltd as 'state of the art' high quality fishing vessels with modern navigation and communication equipment and advanced net hauling and liner winches. Other facilities include galleys, bio-toilet, refrigerated seawater system and stainless steel cladded PUF insulated Fish Hold to preserve the fish catch. These boats are a great boon to Indian Fishing Community to diversify to more sustainable Deep Sea Fishing.

4:46 The first harbour shown is "Colachal Harbour" and not Mookayoor, 4:47 "CHINNAMUTTOM Harbour" and not Kundukkal....4:49 also CHINNAMUTTOM harbour in Kanyakumari and not Poompuhar...Totally wrong information, they are not new harbours...Colachal harbour was constructed in 2016 and Chinnamuttom harbour was constructed in 1988-89 and the extension jetty in 2016-18.....

Need fish factory ship with such trollers to go deeper into sea and to go international market of frozen canned products like sausage etc. ??? Need to prepare shallow coastline farms that will be flooded on high tides and shallow on low tides for Sea cucumber, oyster farming and processing ??? How many poor people got this boats and total how many delivered??? Don't show like everything changed.. still 99 percentage of peoples stuck with old fishing boats.. mostly it helped rich people only.
