I was worried about only having the AirTag on my golf cart so we added a PT-V4 GPS tracker from usfleettracking.com. They are a really nice company to work with and you even get to speak with a live rep to get help setting it up. I spoke with a guy named Derrick, and he was so helpful getting my account set up. I'm sure there are cheaper trackers, but when it comes to service and reliability, I highly recommend this company. The AirTags do work, I'm just not exactly sure how they update their location, and would hate to lose another golf cart to these damn thieves!

I feel for you, I’ve dealt with stuff like this one too many times and you learn real fast how much the law is in the thieves favor more so than the victims. With that said one would like to think the cops could have taken that more serious. If they know everything is stolen there they should get a search warrant or hopefully into things a little further. Since your AirTag was found there that should be enough for probable cause.

@mr.digg If you were wanting to conceal it better. There is a cavity behind the dash where the cup holders stick out and its part of the firewall/ floor. You could place it there with the magnet and not have to worry about it being seen from underneath. You can access the part of the dash by pulling out the cup holders and place it in there. Ive used that cavity to conceal dc converters on golf carts on my channel. Or you could place an airtag in the controller cover on the passenger side.

You need to hire me or someone like myself that is willing to keep quiet and still until a person get an item half loaded up and then call the police and tell them someone's heart stopped as they were attempting to steal from you

That's nice. I wish I had one on my car when it as stolen, it turned out, they lived in my neighborhood and never left the area. I could have probably found it myself in 48 hours, instead of the two weeks before it was abandoned.

I’m sure you know by now, but the AirTag is not so reliable for consistent pings. I use one on my cats collars, and it works decent but they’ll only ping every 6 hours on average. You’d think it would ping off phones alot more then that!

Logisticmatics -- awesome gps trackers that are only $30 or $40 bucks plus the monthly tracking subsctriction. its real time and very, very accurate. i have one in my TRX and one in my expensive electric bike. you can have them update once a day or every 15 seconds, or somewhere in between to preserve battery life. they are very small, 1/4 the size of my cell phone but 3 times the thickness.

People are stupid! Period! You don’t put engraved info on equipment etc. Have no documents or evidence of the serial or model numbers etc. Have you got proof of ownership of every gun with pictures? You leave equipment sitting out in the yard where every thief going by can see it. Not keep your barns sheds etc locked. Breaking and entering is a felony to be added to any charges if the local usually lazy care less cops/ sheriff ever arrested anyone? It’s only going to get worse especially in the southwest states with all those damn people/ thieves coming in. Know your laws about property boundary markings etc, trespassing laws, etc etc. And demand on video the law do their job.
