Hard to say. I just love how semi-auto holds the ferrite balance. One less thing to worry about. Good thing with semi-auto is you can instantly hear if it has gone out of whack, but it's pretty rare. I still check it regularly just in case. I might be imagining things, but definitely seems like there is less of a difference on small targets between Difficult and Normal when using semi-auto. I'll keep using it as I'm happy with how the machine is running.
Nenad @ Phase Technical Thanks for getting back to me mate. Just one more question if you don’t mind-How do you check the ground balance? Do you do it with the ferrite, the walk and sweep or just a few pumps up and down? Appreciate your thoughts.
To check for ground balance, yep just pump the coil. To check ferrite, put it on the ground and sweep over it. If it's giving no signal, back in the pocket.
