OMG ❤️! Brings back so many beautiful memories of me and our mother and sister sitting late on our steps singing this song along with our friend freida wow! What beautiful memories 🙏😇❤️ #RIPMOM RIPSIS MISS YALL 💔🙏
Im 26 rn and as corny as my wannabe “cholo” phase was I’m glad it put me on to these covers of oldies. GQ, the moonglows, the miracles, the temptations, and the whispers just to name a lil. I’ll always love this music. 🇺🇸🫶🏾🇲🇽
Saw him perform in San Jose Ca back in maybe 2001. What a show, excellent vocals and guitar playing. These songs bring back memories of my highschool years, cruising and hanging out and what not. Never get tired of listening to GQ
just pretend; been going thru some old grooves now. i have no place to put them. going through them now, then il box them. put them somewhere, my recording studio too crowded. il play some of these before i do. many were my parents stuff. r i p and huggs. cya on the other side. il be looking for u guys.
Raheim Lablanc looks good and still doing his thing! Thanks 😊, for helping to make my middle teenage years a lot more bearable! I was truly in a bad place in my life, but this music and the group gave me an outlet to tune out some of the trauma and drama. G Q, forever and a day! March 08,2021. 8:41pm.
For those of you who don't know, Keith Sweat's late uncle Keith Crier was a part of GQ. Keith was named after his uncle, and to avoid confusion, his last name was changed to Sweat.
Dude still sounds good, although he doesn't have the falsetto he once had, but who does when they get into their 60s. Wonder what happened to his original bass player when they were at the height of their success in the late 70s?
Unfortunately Keith “Sabu” Crier, original bass player for GQ passed away in 2013. He’s related to Keith Sweat. His uncle I believe. Really miss this group.
U know what i was a gq fan when they first hit i was in high School and we used to go to a lot of concerts when i was in high school and a lot of top bands came thru Toledo Ohio but these dudes did not but the concert footage ive seen of them are just frickin awesome
Hi Rahim!!!! Still doing your thing I see...Sounding good..Remember HS Adlai Stevenson??? Those were the good ole days!! Stay blessed. ♥️🙏🤗 Soundview 4 ever.
Howard University Cramton Auditorium, Spring 1980, GQ headlined the show..It turned into a giant sing a long. All the women knew the words to every song they played. The opening act was the group " Change ". No one realized at the time that one it's vocalist would go on to be a superstar...Luthet Vandross.
Mr. Monique of Patti and Labelles, their manager, says put a pair of shoes in the Music Hall 🎶 of Frame, I am the future percussionist-vocalist for her band. AKA. Alpha Phi Alphi IBPOEW Prince Hall off Masons

@ Onlythetruth247 True old school required real talent. This crap we have now only requires cussing and ratchedness, and they have the nerves to call it music.
