Fuck I love this so much, I'm running a JP 12mm with a HPD tmic, 3" exhaust and a Garrett 2871r turbo. I'm at 155kW and 564Nm torque and just wish I had this sound, especially the whistle it's so fucking good.
@@hktcss if you could brother would you be able to tell me everything to get it to sound like that from parts exhaust all that trying to build a bulletproof off it’s tits td42 gu patrol and might even have to call denco to get a custom turbo built to handle the power I want to make out of the td42 if you could give me a hand on what parts ect would be a Major help cheers mate 🍻
@@skitzcxnt9217 mate, we went down that path with both our td42s. Each their own but we are now doing a 6BT Cummins swap as the money spent trying to get a 4.2 reliable and decent power leaves a lot to desire. We ran 18g denco and water to air cooler and billet crank 12mm pump and 28psi boost and we achieved 280hp and 1050nm torque at the wheels on 35s but was geared for 37s which re ran daily. If I could give any advice I wouldn’t waste to much on a 4.2 and save for a Cummins swap. 6BT with mild boost and upgraded turbo will make more power than any built 4.2 will ever make. Good luck with your project bud cheers
@@hktcss cheers for that information mate I love the sound of the Cummins but something about this video has me drooling over that sound and I’m going to keep the boilly boi td42 motor and get a denco to get that sound I love it I will just build it to be realibe and bulletproof but not over heat if you are able to give me even more information about how to get that sound it would be much help mate cheers for that your a bloody legend
@@skitzcxnt9217 yer too easy mate. This is the SKU: NISTD42T3. That’s the denco kit we used on both vehicles and we just used a straight 3 inch pipe from the down pipe no mufflers or cat. Other than that we upgrade water pump and radiator to an aluminium PWR, trans cooler, bigger Thermo fans on switches do we could always have them running. 12mm diesel pump and ran 25-27 psi boost. Some people go bigger moss etc but we made reliable power figures and did the cape and Fraser many times no issues. But we ran 37s but did the diff gears 4.625 and it drove like it was on 32s. Too many hero’s just do engine mods big lift and thrash them then complain they’re unreliable but when you change one part you need to do everything else. Good luck mate should be fun
