GR86 is one of my dream cars, a fast acceleration while having the aerodynamics to perform a smooth clean drift. Although I'm 13 I look forward to getting one when I'm older!

Thanks so much for continuing to develop, codevelop, and build sports cars Toyota. I got my GR Supra after having to trade in my manual car due to a critical clutch leg injury. It’s the best of the cars I’ve owned, and knock on wood the sooner I get my leg fixed the sooner I can set my eyes on adding an 86 or GR Corolla to my stable ☺️✌️

I would love for Toyota to use a Toyota powerplant in their GR86 in light of the problems with the boxer engine. Of course, keep the manual transmission.

Please deal with the RTV causing oil pickup tube clogs leading to engine oil starvation. It is embarrassing for a company such as Toyota to have such issues in a new car.

Is this the stock power unit? I'm a newer owner of a GR86 and I'm super worried about this oil starvation problem that I'm seeing posted about. I purchased my car because I heard the GR cars are track certified by toyota but now I'm super nervous about even driving on my mountain roads.

You really do. I used to own a C6 Corvette, the seats were huge and did not hold you in place. While taking corners I was constantly shifting my butt, and that impedes my concentration. And as any experienced driver or drifter knows, if you fail to have the right concentration you’ve already lost.
