I'll say this, I don't normally like this song... but for some reason I love Grace Jones' version of it.

You could wake up to watch your morning cartoons and see Grace f'ing Jones kick an x-mas song to pee-wee while rocking a Thierry Mugler bustier. How wonderful is it that millions of little children were exposed to Grace Jones and Issey Miyake at such a young age. This special also featured kd lang before she was super famous as well as an older Dinah Shore. Pee-Wee was a genius!

FYI: That is an arrangement by David Bowie. Paul tells the story that Grace and Dolph (i.e Ivan Drago) were dating at the time and were on a same flight as David Bowie and on the flight they were chit chatting and Grace mentioned that she was going to be a guest on Playhouse and sing little drummer boy...Bowie offered her an arrangement of the song he made and thats what she used.

When I was a young teenager, I thought Grace Jones was the most alluring woman alive. Between her music videos and her appearance in Conan, I would have to call her the woman of my teenage dreams, fierce and beautiful, followed closely by Annie Lennox. What that says about me, I do not care.
