Yes …Graco 390 is definitely better than magnum x5…..I wont recommend to use Magnum for solvent paint and stain(because of the rubber suction hose and internal components….only water-base paint ..Magnum x5 can be a good starter for a beginner painter or home owner .The Graco 390 more industrial build and possibility for both …solvent and water based paint and stain…also have a benefit to very easily replace the piston (if its stop working properly)on the job site if you purchase extra one
