In this video I show you guys how to set up the Graco Magnum Project Painter Plus for the first time. Lets be Social: IG @thepurpleladdercompany Any request for work email ThePurpleLadderCompany@gmail.com
Just purchased this sprayer and have watched a lot of vids to see what I was in for. You made it seem so easy. Thank you for sharing. Sometimes "homeownership" is intimidating.
I’m so proud of you for taking on the task of showing the rest of us how do use that machine. I’m even more proud of you because the fact that you’re a woman because most women are afraid to take on construction jobs, but you’ve just showing a lot of women and a lot of young girls that they can make a good living painting by utilizing the same steps that you did to paint that room. It looks amazing. God bless you.
I was looking at getting one of these now I can't imagine painting without one. Not to mention I'm now a subscriber, can't say no to a smart and beautiful woman who can teach me useful things.
I’m a drone pilot and virtual tour creator in South Florida, but I am from Blacksburg, Virginia…love seeing DIY videos from women, will def subscribe:)
Thank you for this! I had been intimidated by using this sprayer for awhile now and now I love using it! Great tutorial! You made it easy to understand and use.
Great tutorial.....makes it easy to set up. Sprayers with all their parts can seem intimidating and the way Dani broke it down makes you comfortable you can do it. Well done Dani!
Excellent video. I have watched several on this paint sprayer because I just ordered one, and I have to say, this is the best video on the Graco Magnum Painter. Thank You!
Excellent video! I've had this sprayer in my garage since February and I've been intimidated to open it. You really broke it down and gave me the confidence to use it this weekend! I love to see women empowering others!! 😍
Thank you for this video. I bought the X5 and even the Graco RU-vid channel was so hard to follow. You made it so easy for me to understand. My project came out really good. BIG THANK YOU!
yoyoyoyoyoyo as a fellow Hampton roads native this helped me out now im going to get one i have to re spray the interior of a recently purchased house and this is that i will use to do it!
Here I go . I bought this over a year ago to make home improvements. I have not been brave enough to pull it out, but I have a big piece of old Brown furniture I'm going to paint. You have made it look so easy. I'm ready!
I just purchased this paint sprayer to paint the exterior of my house. I need to do some prep work before paint. Great video and after watching your video, I feel confident about using the new sprayer! I also just subscribed and looking forward to more videos!❤️
Thank you! Great video!!! And thanks for showing some of you painting the walls. All those years and houses I hand rolled .. 😢 I bought this for my exterior but now I feel confident to spray inside too.😊
Denbigh ‘91 in the house! 🎉 I love this sprayer. ALSO…there is an attachment for a special paint roller that is amazing! The machine fills into the roller core, which has a bunch of little holes, keeping the perfect amount of paint on roller at all times, with no need to use a roller pan…gives a beautiful finish.
@@danidiydit1 I'll be doing it for the first time by myself in the morning... Your video really helped me gain the confidence to overcome the previous fears and anxieties tied to it to pick it back up myself this time. I'm very grateful 🙏 P.s. your video of all of them imo was very informational, clear and straight forward. 👌 love the content can't wait to get into more!
Great video. Simple and to the point. Had never used an airless sprayer before but this video and the video from Caliber8 Tools got me going. Took longer to properly clean after use than it did to spray my outside cinder block wall fence with 18 gals of paint.
@@danidiydit1if only we found your video two days ago haha! We (or especially my girlfriend 😂) found our way to make it work and as you said, the set-up and break-up took a long time. a demo of cleaning the tool would be awesome too since most instruction videos gloss over this part. We were messing around for 35 minutes before we finally managed to loosen the cilinder (seemed really stuck but once we finally found the correct position to ‘wrench it loose’ , it was easy). So it’s best to use this baby if you’re going to paint multiple rooms since you really get Amazing results very quickly when you start spraying. Great explanation and demonstration, I hope many people see this vid!
I just bought this sprayer today and sadly I didn't watch this first! We forgot to switch the prime switch back to spray so it lost the prime pressure and wouldn't spray, only drizzled out.🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ Will try it again tomorrow with your fabulous instruction!!!!!
This was very informative! Thank you! One question not related to the sprayer tho. When priming a wall does it matter the direction you go? Can you spray up and across together or should it all be done in one direction?
Thanks Dani, I'm a DIY Queen like you but I really don't want to purchase a sprayer. I want my house (outside) painted but the quotes I'm getting are way high so I may be forced into the purchase. Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much for this video. After watching more than 10 videos over and over again, this has been the best and seemingly the easiest one yet. I just purchased this exact same Graco sprayer a couple of days ago. I was a little intimidated by it until this video...Thanks for putting this together. Did you do one or two coats?
Thank you soo much for watching! So glad you enjoyed the content. Most walls only required one coat but for walls that were previously a darker color i sprayed two coats!
Thanks for the video. I watched others and was not able to really follow them, too fast and too much “man speak”. I searched for a video done by a female for this unit and I loved your video. It was easy to follow along for someone that has never used this type machine ever before.
I am trying looking at this sprayer, the X5 and the X7 (cheaper would be better). Want to make sure I'm getting one that will work without thinning Behr Marquee interior paint. It's supposed to be thick since it's a paint and primer in one. Any thoughts?
Loved this video, I’m almost ready to start spraying! My sprayer didn’t come with a mesh filter bag, so I have to figure out how to get one of those first:(
Hi there, so after i have attached the hose end to the machine, it leaks the water at the connection instead of draining to the waste hose. It seems to be straight and i have reattached it 3 times, any ideas what i am doing wrong?
I have a question why do you put the waste line into the paint bucket? I ask because my gun is doing the exact same thing. However it has globs coming out of it.
What i usually do when I paint houses, is take the guard off when I'm priming my spray line so.it comes out a stream instead of a spray. I find thats a little less messy
