I agree water is worse than for your pump but please tell me what do I clean my sprayer out with when I run a water-based paint through it without gumming it up?
You can clean the sprayer out with water, and its ok to leave water in your sprayer for a couple of days. If you plan on letting the machine sit for awhile then I would put Graco pump armor in it or mineral spirits.
Hey quick question.. do you need to adjust the brass part of the valve by tightening or loosening it? My new valve came with it only halfway screwed down. Thank you 🙏
Thanks for this video. My pump the valve was sticking to tite to turn to prime and spray easily. But when i did the pump would not prime when i turned to prime. I removed the dip to see if its pluged with paint and also of the ball was stuck but it was just fine. I screwed back on and tried to prime but it wouldn't. Do you think something in the prime to spray valve is broken or maybe is just plugged with paint and needs to be cleaned?
Hi, my graco 3400 striper works great for a couple of hrs then starts pulsating and leaves the lines like Christmas tree, I cleaned the pressure releif valve and same thing, what can I check next? Thank u
@@user-dp1oq6ej5s I figured it out, we bought some new traffic paint, and that fixed the issue, very weird, I don't know if u have been using old paint or not, but we had gallons saved up from 2020, sealed, it's freakin weird, hope this helps
