Hey quick question.. do you need to adjust the brass part of the valve by tightening or loosening it? My new valve came with it only halfway screwed down. Thank you 🙏
@@MeonUKltd the ones that come from Amazon are not tightened down all the way for some reason. The first one I bought from Amazon was defective and bypassed unless I fiddled with it. They sent me a replacement and it works how it should. I wonder why they send them not tightened down all the way? On another note, when i installed that first one, I over tightened the valve and I broke the frikken manifold. I had used thread tape and I wrapped it like 5 times. I’m thinking the thread tape plus me tightening it a bit too much blew the hole out. Omg I was so upset with myself. So when I ordered the new manifold I ordered an inch pound torque wrench so I’ll never do something like that again. It’s amazing how little torque something takes. That little valve takes 188 inch pounds in case anyone sees this and wants to know.
