Hey thank you so much for the helpful video. I had a quick question if you wouldn't mind answering: Do i have to fill out the "main/initial" FAFSA form before filling out a grad plus loan application? Much obliged!!!

Great question! Yes, you need to submit the FAFSA so your school can calculate how much Grad PLUS loan you are eligible to borrow.

do i have to authorize the school to pay for charges on my account in order to receive the award ?

Great question! You can receive the award without authorizing the school to pay all charges. However, it is usually easier to have your school's Bursar's office deduct all charges and then send you the remaining amount for living expenses. Otherwise, you might receive your refund but still have to make another payment to the school for those charges they did not already deduct.

Hi! I got a question. I have already applied to a few grad schools and would like to apply for the grad plus loan. Also, I already submitted my FAFSA a while ago. So for the grad plus loan, do I submit separate applications for each program I applied to? Or is this something I have to apply for only for the school I choose to enroll in? Thanks in advance!

Great question! Only at the school where you will enroll. You should wait until you receive your financial aid offer from that school to see how much you are offered under the Grad PLUS program.
