I start my practicum next month any tips on handling/reducing anxiety because I’m kind of nervous

Hi! I start my first day of practicum the week after this coming. I was placed via my school so I haven’t even met my supervisor yet. I’m super nervous because I’ve never worked in a school (I’m studying school psychology). Any tips to help reduce anxiety would be super appreciated!!!

I use an app called balance to do guided meditation for my anxiety. I also would keep repeating positive thoughts. Work on your breathing & bringing your heart rate down. Another one is (it’s a little weird) but if you have a safe person who wears a certain type of perfume or cologne spray that scent on a scrunchy or bracelet & smell it when you start feeling anxious

Did you have to locate your own internship or did your school place you in one? If you had to find your own, can you do a video on tips and tricks on how to land one?

I did have to find my own practicum site. But I do plan on making a video soon on landing a site!
