WELL DONE YOUNG LADY!!!!! You are the best example to all the children all over the world! WELL DONE!!! I enjoyed all of the track prep and the race. Glad you noticed the camera setting angle.
I love your attitude of allowing your kids to do things most parents would say your to young. My grandkids have taken over taking care of their house repairs since their dad died two years ago. Lawn paint plumbing carpentry currently building a shed 8x10. Very little supervision. He is 10 and she is 13. It made me feel good of how proud you were talking how the totem was positioned. Kids can do more than are giving a chance to try. Keep up the good work with family and business. Keep it positive.
Excellent event.......When we were kids (I'm 72) my dad and my uncles did the same thing. We had a track much like yours and I think about 8 or 9 carts that were all professionally built with Mcculloch engines on them. A couple of my uncles worked for the cart company at the time so machines and parts were always available. Sometimes we'd race all week end. We had so much fun and learned so much. I am so thankful my dad and my uncles spent the time with us kids to teach us and let us race till we were dirty tired and hungry. Keep up the good work with your family they will never forget the great times your providing.
All work and no play got turned around with you this day! AWESOME - alternative to video games - Another FAMILY Productivity & Fun Time. So important because as you will get older the children will get bigger. You work hard and it's great to see you (and everyone) play hard as well. This was enjoyable to watch. Thanks to all of you! Sonny (CT)
This is time with the kids you'll never get back and never regret, besides the fact that that is a sweet little track you've got there. Thanks for sharing family and friends with us.
Best part of being a father is when the kids make you proud of them, they may not always know the specific moments of course we do and fathers will use the word sparingly to protect its significance in there life, and to my daughter Caitlyn who is 20 and in college if your reading this, yes I’m so proud of you and your reach has almost got you to achieving your first goal so keep it up girl rewards on the other side of achievement
Great video, and family time. So good to see the kids getting involved in opportunities to drive the tractor around, watering down the track, rolling it in, and finally getting to get some seat time in the kart. Not to much risk while getting themselves some confidence to challenge themselves to do something other than electronic gaming and texting. My son and I spent about 7 years go karting on a asphalt road course in Wisconsin. (8 years old till 15) years old, Great family and bonding time, getting experience in picking up a wrench and making adjustments on the kart. 1 track Championship, one 2nd place for the year, a bedroom full of season trophies, and a track record. We did a few WKA (World Karting Association) races at different tracks but that gets a big bite to the wallet if you want to compete with who shows up, extra tires, spare engines, different exhaust pipe of the month, $150.00 ea, so we did a few on the road and that was it. We were competitive so that made us feel good.
Looks like fun... in some way reminds me of working with my own father... He had me driving tractors just a bit older than I would expect Macy is here. He probably would have loved this kind of racing.. when I was born he was heavy into racing... Stock Cars at State Line Speedway in Western NY.. By the time I was Gunner's age he had been forced to quit simply due to 2 more kids and his job had him on-call for parts of the year... and being the local fire chief too... ahhh the memories... Thanks... it's been 40 years but they are fond memories now...
Awesome video. Macy is a pro at driving and backing the trailer up ! It’s great seeing the kids out learning about the tractors, instead of the video games like you said. 👍
You have every right to be proud of your girl !!!!!!!! She does a great job. Dad is a good teacher and great encourager. Keep giving her those opportunities (even when it's quicker and easier to do it yourself). Don't be surprised see her helping dad in the dump truck some day !!!!!!!!! Dude , how do you keep the pond so clean and green ?????????
I loved that! All of it! From the tidying up, and watching the young ones helping out. Your daughter is a whiz with that machine! And then, later on watching the big kids racing! Excellent stuff! :-)
That’s awesome Mike. Getting out with the kids and enjoying some quality time with them and teaching them some life lessons when they just think they’re having fun. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Start them young and skills like that will last and develop over a lifetime 👍👍Great to see both of your children getting hands on. Proves you are a good teacher and dad rolled into one!!!
As the saying goes You work hard, you play hard good to see having that track and being able to unwind from work. Macy did a great job learning life skills while having fun the way it should be thanks Mike.
I love it nothing like playing and working with your kids setting them up for life with the life lessons especially are daughters shes a natural backing that trailer spot on I get my daughter to reverse the artics in are yard on weekend
All you guys work hard and play hard. Great to see the kids getting directly involved and as you say gaining "life skills" Wish a few more parents in the world did so. Many thanks for the entertainment and regards from Bonnie Scotland.
Awesome, setting the camera on a tripod & just let it run while you race gets a thumbs up from me, I spend 1/2 my life standing at the side of race tracks, anything from a small club race to an International race 👍
Love the friendly kart racing and look forward to more. If the youngsters get track time that would be fun to watch also. It reminds me of my kart racing time way back in the early '60s when the power was provided by twin chainsaw engines. Karts have sure changed over the years but obviously the fun is still there.
Awesome that the kids love to help and do different things besides the video games all the time 👍🏻.... That drag you have looks just like a drag used on a snow groomer for smoothing snowmobile trails, in my opinion I think if you added a couple blades in the center like on the outside you might get a better mix with the dirt. Just an idea..💡
She will be better at backing up trailers before she can legally drive, than some adults who have been trying for decades lol. That was mine and another trash truck driver's favorite past time when the line at the landfill was long, betting on which person in line could back a trailer up faster than someone else. And there was a young lady in high school with a beat up old Ford and an even older 6 horse trailer that would be backed in and started unloading before some of them 30-40 year old contractors got backed in. I'd love to have my own go kart track, that would be a lot of fun. Only difference between boys and men is how much the toys cost.
Dad of the year award coming your way all the way from the UK 👌 Amazing kids. Trying to find videos on building flat tracks for the one I'm hoping to build for bikes on a property we're in the midst of attempting to buy. The biggest thing I've learned so far is that my machinery will be very much adapted rather than bought. Unless I can befriend local farmers 😄 We will have a pond for water though.
American ingenuity.....I love it. Back in the 60’s we’d spread drain oil in the paddock to keep the dust down. Nowadays that might be a mortal sin🤪. Looks like you add DEF. Macey is “tractor perfect”
It's great to see the interaction with your kids and spending quality time with them. Hope you tell them you love them and how much they mean to you as often as you can. My father rarely did anything with me when I was a child and can't remember a time when he got down on my level, told me he loved me and how much I meant to him. It takes little effort to be a father but takes a lot to be a Dad.
One question you have to wonder Aaron is who is paying the person in the flag tower and when did DP signal to wave the checkered flag 🏁 to end the race before you caught up to him. 🤔
looks like a riot of fun, great to see the kids enjoying helping dad get the track ready. I never did go carts but did do home built10 foot hydroplane boats with old mercury 10hp motors
You need to get Macy a cart to rip around the track! Or even just put a throttle stop on yours for her! She'll be the best driving teenager when she gets her license! I know that's about 6-8 years out but... I know that riding four wheelers when I was her age really helped me grasp the concept of having to operate a clutch and shift gears and stay focused on where I was going really gave me a head start when it came to driving a car/truck! Anywho, keep up the awesome content! And stay safe out there! Dan @6-4_Fab Glen Rock, PA
Good video again your right like to see kids outside working and not inside on video games you are teaching your kids right tell her good job y’all be safe good job driving that look fast I think you’re gonna have your new operator equipment when she gets older
You watered, graded, and packed the track until it was a professional track. Exactly what I expected from Dirt Perfect. A good channel has a WIDE variety of topics. Boy do you have that nailed. I like your commentary and content!
Definitely every kids dream is to have a Dad that owns a go cart race track to have a blast on.... and that includes Dad himself. I'll bet one day Gunner blows his 'Ol Man away in a flask by his teenage years 😅😅😅😅😎
