Minimum they deserve is a B. - Got off the 10th Pick and Davis Bertans mammoth contract for Dereck Lively (C) at 12 and a possible steal of the draft with the 24th pick they received in OMax (SF/PF). - Traded ageing and undersized Reggie Bullock for a younger and more defensively versatile forward in Grant Williams on a very team friendly contract of 4yr/53m. - Resigned Kyrie to LESS than the maximum that many thought we would give. - Resigned Seth Curry who was fantastic the last time he played with Luka in Dallas.

Your take on the Rockets getting an F shows you did not do any research besides looking at the numbers without any clue to the context of it. NBA teams like the Rockets with an abundance of salary cap space are mandated to spend 90% of their salary cap space so regardless, they had to overpay. Its not like the Rockets could just sit on their cap space and save it for next season when better FA becomes available. An important aspect that showed your lacked of research is that the contracts handed out will not have any affect on the Rockets cap when their young players become eligible for extensions. Fred Vanvleet contract is basically only 2 years guaranteed with an additional team option while Brooks 4yr/80mil is front-loaded. Meaning that his contract will decrease yearly while the salary cap increases. That would make his contract more valuable especially during his 3rd and 4th year.

The Rockets easily had a top 3 draft and signed all the players they needed to let their great young core thrive😂. They had to spend the money and made all the contracts future proof (backloaded, not guaranteed, team options) and have one of, if not the deepest team in the league. One of the off-seasons they could’ve had and continue to set themselves up for playoff success within the next 5 years

They had one of the best draft days, getting Lively AND trading nothing for Prosper and Holmes, signing a great shooter in Curry, and basically trading Bullock for Williams, who they will have for another 4 years. After what happened with Brook Lopez backing out, signing Landale was a great move since we got rid of Garuba, AND we had seemingly the best draft in the league while signing basically the best available coach. The CBA ruling made them have to spend their money and they didn't have many other options, id rather overpay Fred and Dillon than Christian Wood or anybody else available.

The nuggets should be higher. They lost BB but they drafted Hunter Tyson who is a steal. An athletic 3/4 that can shoot pass and spread the floor. He’s not as known but he just dropped 31 in summer league. I worked on the team at Clemson and can verify this dude is a stud and his work ethic is next level. Absolute steal for any team looking to spread the floor.

They focused on who to develop and who are the mentors that will teach this younglings. Ok so let's be real here. Just because you add a star with another star doesn't automatically mean your going to win it all. It's about team chemistry and getting that experience playing together. Luka and Kyrie had less than 1 season so far. Give them a break people. Now after 2 or 3 seasons in and there's no progress then ok but until then stop hating. I'm not a Mavs fan but they do got a squad. Luka is easy top 5 best player in the world right now. Kyrie is easily top 10 best offensive player right now. So they get clicking and they can be dangerous and I like who there stacking around them. They'll be fun to watch for sure.

Luka wants to play with Irving plus a 2 star guard system works for Steph and Klay it can also work for Luka and Kyrie and on top of that we filled in gaps for defense, depth and big man presence in the paint so at minimum they should have a A- but I’d give them an A+

Austin really doesn't realize that the dubs signed Dario saric who is like 6 10 and can shoot, and pass, Jordan poole was a lockeroom cancer and was shooting the warriors out of games, teams didn't value poole at all and cp3 is a way better leader for the second unit plus they save money. They also signed Cory Joseph for steph and cp3 insurance. They are also targeting another big man that's more of a center in training camp. I think Austin was way to harsh on the warriors offseason not realizing there isn't that much the warriors can do with the new rules. I think long term they won't be better but they will definitely be better in the short term and there was no way Donte was staying with the warriors with the money the warriors had to offer.
