was literally just about to ask this lol - excited to see your thoughts on Myles Garrett getting taken way before the arguably (easily imo) better Edge in TJ Watt. I know Watt was a flyer whereas Garrett was more of a sure thing, but the draft capital used is massive in comparison- regardless, I am definitely biased lol

@@22wolves22 the Goff and Wentz pick both paid off immediately and both teams won super bowls already in some way or form thanks to picking both players. Whole Cowboys are medicore at the end of every year.

The last 2 franchise qbs for Dallas (romo and dak) were undrafted, and taken in the 4th round. But somehow they became overrated lol

@@overkill666100 maybe if they gotten someone higher they can actually win playoffs games and get to the conference championship game. Who said anything about the being overrated? My comment is clearly the results of both Wentz and Goff drafts eventually equated to SB Champs. Wentz was a big part of that SB run, he was playing at an MVP level and his teammates played inspired ball rallying around his injury. Goff helped get them to SB, his cheap contract helped build the team and his value traded for Stafford that eventually got them a SB ring. What has Romo and Dak done? How many playoff wins they have combined?

@@blowc1612 that’s a very cheap way of trying to justify either two getting picked over Dak. The cowboys lack of success has a lot more to do with how poorly they’ve run their organization, especially when it comes to FA and Coaching hires, than it does with Romo or Dak.

Picking Zeke was a good call. Giving him that contract was a huge mistake. But those are different topics that should be compartmentalized. Sincerely, not a cowboys fan.

Yeah but we got a a really good tackle he just needs to stay healthy. Also even though Ramsey is better than Humphrey I doubt we get Humphrey the year after if we trade up.

Yes. the Rams do have a good FO but starting your coaching career with 5 straight winning seasons, 4 playoff appearances, 7 playoff victories, 2 NFC championships and a Super Bowl ring is just ridiculously good

Personally I think it's a testmant to McVay that allin strategy even worked. Throwing out draft picks and big contracts like candy for veterans usually ends up a big problem if you have a GM and coach that don't know what they're doing.

i dont think he was that bad... a lot of what ifs, he was injured too much. he was only terrible in 2020, and his rookie year had struggles. i think a B- is the proper grade

How is he overrated?? Ramsey and JC Jackson are the best CB's in the NFL right now

@@zyx777zyx He got flattened and run over by OBJ every time they met and OBJ isn't even prime anymore. D Hop, Micheal Thomas, DaVante Adams and Deebo Samuel did a number on Jalen Ramsey too often. Maybe that is why some believe he's overrated?
