USMNT Summer Transfers were explosive this year, with major names like Christian Pulisic, Folarin Balogun and Ricardo Pepi getting moves. Yunus Musah, Tim Weah, Malik Tillman and Brenden Aaronson also got moves this summer and I brought Adam Turner to help me grade each move from A+ to F-

I actually love the Pepi move. To me, it seems that he was brought in as the heir apparent to de Jong. We have to remember that he's only 20, and PSV has a great track record when it comes to development. If he's getting a consistent 15-20 minutes a game along with the occasional start in cup matches, that would be a solid season for him. Then, hopefully he's starting more regularly next year. This is potentially great for his career and great for the USMNT in 2026. The people who are downplaying this move seem to be talking as if we urgently need Pepi to start regularly for his club so that he's ready to start for the national team right now. I'm just not sure that's the case...

We can’t have Pepi and Balogun both not starting.

@noting7678 It's certainly not ideal going into Copa America, but I'm guessing that Balogun is going to get his fair share of starts this season, especially given Ben Yedder's legal issues. Also, I would be somewhat surprised if Pepi is on the Copa roster if everyone is healthy and in form. We have 5 forwards playing at the Championship level or higher, only two of which (Balogun & Pepi) are Olympic eligible, and you can bet your bottom dollar that Balogun is on the Copa roster. So, given those two things, I expect Pepi to be on the Olympic roster while Balogun and probably Sargent (if healthy) are on the Copa America roster. That's why I think that we should be more concerned with the long-term when it comes to Pepi rather than the immediate.

Pepi is a great move to PSV, the Dutch know when they have to bring a player. Pepi get his chance there, however FC Groningen went down, you saw the quality of Pepi, it's only waiting,

Great move for pulisic. He is one of those player that needs to feel he can make a difference to actually make a difference. As opposed to lets say jamie vardy or zaha who bring their best against big teams. Pulisic has been told by everyone in us he is world class talent. Came to chelsea and he was very average most of the time. Lets say no teams or fullbacks feared him. Wouldnt blame him if he lost his confidence. This is his last chance at a big club, the next clubs would be a roma or gladbach or lower. He has to make it work

I think Musah's move to Milan was a great move, guys still a pup, he'll be a rotational player, he'll also get to learn from more experienced team mates, no Loftus-Cheek is nowhere near world class, but the man's a pro, when have you ever heard Loftus-Cheek be anything but a pro, listening and learning good habits from such a guy, can be invaluable

For now he is a bench player and will need to prove himself before he even becomes a rotational player.

@@ProRel4MLSUSL I agree, when i say rotational, that what I mean but once the UCL kicks in, I can see him playing a bit more, either way it's a good opportunity for the lad, I mean he was wasted at Valencia (which is a mess of a club right now)

@@Ducks4Life14 in the grand scheme of things hes only 20, so hes got a lot of years left and is nowhere near the finished article (a players prime is usually 27-31) if he grows to be all he can be, he'll have a very exciting prime

Is it just me or did they make Konrad’s injury into like a personal problem? “Get healthy and figure it out … figure out what’s going on in his life…” I think he was trying to say a few different things at the same time. Or maybe this is the kind of channel that assumes getting hurt is a mental issue? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Musah should not be anywhere near the starting team for Milan. Should of stayed at Valencia or tried to go back to UK and play for someone like West Ham
