Linda wont remember me, When I was 18 years old I became one of many people she helped teach. She did route learning with me about 18 years ago in Blantyre. We went out in an M reg Volvo decker and the trainees took turns each at driving the routes. We sat up the top deck and Linda told us stories about how she started off as a clippie and then onto driving. As I say, she wont remember me, but ill remember and admire her for the rest of my life, she is a great instructor, a legend in bus driving.
I’ve considered joining first Glasgow but I live in Edinburgh but thinking about it as would brilliant for first Glasgow decent bus company with decent buses one of the best bus operators in Scotland 🏴 well the Glasgow division of first bus
I know this is not true, bus drivers don’t get training judging by the way they drive when I live. Manoeuvre A: 1- Pull; Out 2-signal ; 3- Foot hard to floor on accelerator. B: If possible in peak hours slow down to 10mph, this way the tailbacks are huge. C: Never ever stop for a red light, pedestrian crossing or other ‘obstacle’ D if late for end of your shift, ignore all speed limits, they are for other vehicles, not buses.
You mean First bus actually let this clown in Caledonia depot? First has no standards, and the worst part is....they would let some clown like that drive with them anyway. 1 min 7 sec is all I can stomach of this drivel.
