This sheriff should get a special reward. Time that the system supports the police and the people rather than the criminals.

You just can't argue with what he says. He wants the next generation to make it and make that apparent to media and the people because like everything else it starts at the home. I was an addict and statistics would show I wouldn't make it but I did. I did some time and it showed me how dumb I was. There does need to be programs to help people who are wanting to change, but for those who won't we can't let them kill our youth.

I don’t understand how you can have 38 felony arrests and 14 misdemeanor arrests at the age of 28 and been to prison just once … how is that even possible?? Great work prosecutors… keep giving them a plea deal and they walk out the door to continue their crime spree.
@hokehinson5987
@hokehinson5987 Год назад
Believe this. The criminal justice system is not what you think . It is a white collared system of crime hiding behind the robes of virtue. It's very difficult for people who are die hard believers in the illusion of what we've been indoctrinated to believe in to accept. Yeah there are good people in the justice system but the big shots who call the shots have created a system that self perpetuates their pay check, their retirement, their standing in the community. It's built on self interest. Now fathom how crime creates a huge industry that empolyes a host of people in all levels. From construction designers of jails, criminal justice centers...all the people and systems that support jails...then all the LEO departments...all the equip vehicles air craft etc needed for them....instructors in state colleges teaching police certificate programs...honestly just trying to envision all the folks that profit just thru having a job that supports a system that allows crime to never be controlled...and this just represents the good side of the equeation then we have the low lifes....... there is good in evil as well as evil in good...the problem is the individual person.... "there will always be the poor amongst us" and poor is not to be defined as no wealth....wealth itself to an undisciplined mind is a drug in itself....

Amen to R. Pierce. I'm a traumatic brain injury survivor, and cannabis, once you learn to use it as your system needs it ( and this can take months in some cases ), it's truly reliable for good sleep. A chronically sick person needs good quality sleep and can't afford to stint on it as healthy people do. Cannabis ( which is what it should be called ) is a godsend in the right circumstances. There needs to be a medical provision in every state's laws.

Two years ago my best friend called me. She had just discovered the body of her precious son. A baggie of four remaining fentanyl pills were on the bed where he died. I live six hours away and got in the car within twenty minutes to start my journey to be with her. When I got to his home, she and her husband, his sister and I , sat in the room feet away from where he died. The weeping and grief , agonizing pain could not be comforted by any words or hugs. Sheriff Grady is correct. Someone watching this clip either has or will be impacted by this drug. The loss of life is horrific. RIP Jesse

@@pathoover2786 That varies by State, and very few States--three come to mind, California, New York, Ohio--have it. There are two major additional related factors, arrest versus conviction. I finally got tired and told my husband and mother that i was ready for help and now I'm 16 months clean and i feel better than ever my family is back like never before and it's all by the grace of God. You realize that White people came up with opiates and opioids right? You know that since the civil war pain killers have been in the hands were manufactured and distributed by white establishment right? The companies today that make the precursor ingredients to make the drugs are? Guess what? Mostly white owned chemical companies the rest are Chinese and Mexican. The Sackler family and other white owned pain meds companies lost a little bit of money or maybe all of it but none of them saw any prison time...but when after all is said and done and a tiny freakin tiny ass amount compared to these white owned pharmacy companies when black people have a thousand dollars in their pocket like Grady said...all of them deserve all the punishment they can get....right...your obviously still completely narrow minded as you are now as compared when you did drugs...I've been to "support programs" I stopped going cuz there's nothing worse than sober addicts...they are losers and always will and trust me I've been to so many support groups for that shit talked to so many people...hoped that now they are years...years sober...that shit like sexually assaulting women, trying to be big shots, being predatory, vanity, ego, making up outrageous stories, still lying, and are frauds and irritating obnoxious, self absorbed, and inconsiderate...which is exactly what you are...think before you speak you haven't lived for shit or have taken the time to understand shit and are probably a worse person now than when you did drugs

I worked as an RN on orthopedic for 3 1/2 years. It is a painful floor under cancer. Orthopedic is chronic also. I got married and moved to a different area and went into home health nursing. I worked in home health for 15 years and had a car accident that injured my cervical spine and lumbar spine. I had two cervical spine surgeries and my lumbar spine spinal was twisted. It took a specialist to determine why I was hurting so bad in my lower back and hips. My hip plates got twisted when I got stuck under the steering wheel. When my SUV hydroplaned over an embankment and rolled. I worked six years in agony. I couldn’t take pain meds and muscle relaxers because I was driving until I got home. My orthopedics told me it was time to go on disability when I came in crying and covered with sweat one day. I love nursing. I went on a pain management plan with fentanyl patches. As a nurse, you never put a patch on a patient without gloves on. You flush them down a toilet. I started out with a 10mg patch and got up to where I know I ask my doctor for the 100mg. And he said, “NO!” (This was over a course of years.) We went another Route. Pain is Witch. I don’t understand why people want to use drugs. I remember the first time I took a Narcotic for a migraine. It was my first migraine and I was very sick. 17 - 18 years old. My mother took me to the doctor and he order Darvocet. and Phenergan. Darvocet 1 or 2 as needed. Phenergan 1 for nausea and vomiting as needed. I took 1 Darvocet and 1 Phenergan. Well still and hour letter my head was still hurting so bad. I told my mom. She said, “Well, it saids, “You can take one or two, maybe you need two?” I took another one. I was in the recliner with ice packs on my head and neck and cold cloth over my eyes to keep out the light. About 30 minutes later after taking that second Darvocet, I started feeling funny, I thought I was dying. I tried calling momma, but my voice would not come out of my mouth. I sat that in that recliner like I was paralyzed and spinning. I was praying to God, please help me. Don’t let me die. Forgive. I don’t know how long this actually went on but it seemed like forever, but I finally went to sleep and woke up later. That evening with my head feeling like a bowling ball. Migraines are tough. I still have them, but I am very cautious about medications. I will never forget that. One thing, phenergan and narcotics works together to help alleviate pain. In my case, the phenergan and the first Darvocet had not interacted yet, but when the second Darvocet was introduced, it took off like wildfire. That is why it is very important all your doctors know what medications you take, even over the counter medications and vitamins. God Bless Everyone and Pray For Everyone I have a drug addicted brother-in-law. All he has left is my son and I. My husband and his parents ( my-in-laws have all passed away). Praying he finds his way back to a normal life.

Im in pain management I was on super high dose of fentanyl patches after my initial accident and I accidentally put on a second patch not realizing that the other one had fallen into my bra. I almost died. Now I am using injections and a migraine shot I get once a month that’s non narcotic. It took a two years to ween off narcotic medication. I’m now sober off of all narcotic. I’m having another back surgery soon and double knee replacement. I’m afraid because I don’t want to take narcotics afterwards. Chronic pain is horrible. I have a TBI and major spinal trauma. Now my spine is deteriorating from spinal thesisis and spondlosis along with degenerative disc disease. I understand exactly what you said.

The family members bonded out on a major trafficking arrest, and since then there are AT LEAST two bodies on one of them, and who knows how many ODs based on their fake pills and cannabis sprayed with fentanyl? Adding heroin to non-addictive drugs is nothing new, I was addicted to ecstasy pills back in the 1990s, and after I got clean, I found out that what I had been addicted to wasn’t the MDMA, but brownstone heroin that was in the pills. I struggled so much with that addiction I tried to off myself, but I survived and my brother helped me shake it. I love my brother so much, I’m literally alive today because he helped me. The morning after, when I didn’t die, I dragged myself into the shower covered in shit and puke and piss, and let the hot water wash it all away, and I KNEW that God had a better plan for my life, and that he was the only reason I was alive that morning. I accepted Jesus as my PERSONAL Savior, and let him take the wheel. 27 years later, I’m still clean and I have a gorgeous wife, three amazing kids, a gorgeous home, and a loving church family. I’m an elder and a respected member of my community, by God’s loving grace. PLEASE, if you have family members struggling with drugs, GET THEM HELP. Show them that there is a viable path forward!!!

@@shurrodcd22really bad people? Last time I went to jail was because my UBER DRIVER got hit by someone who ran a stop sign, WE called the police to report the wreck because both vehicles were totalled in the middle of the road. For some reason this cop shows up, made the Uber driver hang up the 911 call, (that's how we know he wasn't the officer dispatch to the scene) He made me hang up my cell phone on my wife, (I was informing her I'd be late to dinner because I was in a car wreck) . Then I guess I took to long to hang up, so I was grabbed by the arm he tried taking my phone , I switched it to my other hand and that's when this cop LOST IT! I was thrown to the sidewalk, shin on my neck, hand on back of my head pushing my face into concrete with twisting motion. I ended up with broken right ring finger, fractured ribs, and broken collar bone. I wasn't even resisting, I was never told I was being detained or anything, they never even asked my name or anything. my wife listened to all this for 80 something minutes while all this went down, because I managed to slip my phone in my jacket pocket before he could take it and it didn't hang up... After being beat, I was thrown in the back of cop car, I still at that point haven't been told or asked anything or than "HANG UP YOUR PHONE! HANDS HANDS HANDS, STOP RESISTING!!! Eventually after like 45 mins of sitting there while they get their made up story straight, I FINALLY was told I was going to jail for "resisting arrest", they still haven't asked my name or anything up until this point.. anyway. I Was taken to hospital first and then to jail. This was in my hometown of Cincinnati Ohio, I had no prior criminal history or anything.! This happened November 15th, it's now July 21st and I still am fighting it and still don't know or haven't been told how or what laws I broke that day... I haven't looked at police the same since. I don't like the look of their uniforms, or their cruisers, I hate the count of their radios etc. It all scares me, makes me want to run in the opposite direction, I'd rather walk through the worst projects in America in the middle of the night than EVER be around a cop!!! My aunt is a US Marshall in Atlanta, I told her the same thing, she told me sometimes she doesn't know who's worse, the people they're after or some of her co workers... My uncle also lives in Atlanta, or about 45 minutes outside, but he's been in law enforcement his whole life, soon as he got out of the Army, which he joined at 18 yo... He retired from the US marshals, but he was a MP, he was a beat cop, became a sheriff in ATL and then got with US marshalls where he retired, he still works for ?idk who? It's like the government or law enforcement, but now he just does like Electronics and communications to find people, his office is some bunker in some crazy airport hangar.. anyway, he's had plenty similar stories about crooked cops.etc.. some folks just think cops can do no wrong. Which we all know is totally untrue, they're human just like us, make mistakes, bad decisions, and break laws etc.. they aren't exempt to anyone but themselves and the government (for the most part) ... I mean, cops make mistakes they get paid vacations, or get to put in their resignation and work somewhere else etc.. the good cops need to stand up when they see their fellow LEOs breaking the law or treating people unjustly , it would give cops as a whole a "better" reputation. Right away.!
