The Chief really feels a lot like Frank de Kova's Chief Wild Eagle of the Hekawi from F-Troop (for those too young, F Troop was a 1960s TV comedy set in the old west)
"You sure can pick the spots.." "Yeah, I know. Hey, maybe the next time you come to drive us off our land we'll find a nice piece of swamp that's so god-awful maybe then you'll leave us the hell alone."
I can just imagine Graham Greene's Joseph character on Dances With Wolves instead of Kicking Bird. What funny comedy break that would be. 🤣🤣🤣 Him slapping Kevin Costner and telling him to get it together!!....Two Socks is looking!!!
"PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER MAN (SMACK) Everybody's lookin." Gibson looks around..LMFAO Fvcking hilarious scene..I grew up on the same rez as Graham Greene and The Six Nations is very proud..Also home to Jay Silverheels (Tonto), Stan Jonathan of the Boston Bruins and the most recent Stanley Cup champ Brandon Montour..
That is totally cool about the Nations, I have wondered how he played amongst his peeps. Probably because he's so real, I forget he's acting sometimes.. I have been a huge fan probably since "Thunderheart" (not so much the rest of the film though) film) and his "Northern Exposure stint definitely put him on my permanent radar, he never disappoints.
Love Graham Greene, but I must admit the preteen version of myself couldn't quite wrap my head around the fact that he could speak perfect English while being hilariously sarcastic too. It was like okay this guy is an absolutely fabulous actor and I'm lucky to get to watch him work.
its even funnier that this actually happened tho ahaha! with Russian Grand Duke Alexei Alexandrovich and Chief Spotted Tail......i don't know how i know that, look it up if u want lol
1:58, me when I found out I'd missed a connecting flight from Newark to San Francisco after being held on the tarmac at Albany. Legs went like spaghetti.
Jodie Foster is a good friend to have if you are down in the dumps. And Mel was down in the sewer yet Foster Publicy proclamed he friendship with Mel & that he is a good person. Unfortunately for her she cast him in a film she was directing and because of the Mel Smell, the movie went straight to video
reminds me of an indian who had his ear down to a set of tracks trying to listen if the animal was near who made them...when he just about had it figured out a train ran him over.

He wasn't racist against Natives. Gibson was drunk and ranted about Jews. Not saying it's right. Gibson apologized, but I guess celebrities aren't allowed to apologize. Let it go. Mel Gibson is a good actor and director. and Graham Greene and Mel Gibson were fucking hilarious in Maverick! ANd yes I agree with palealien Graham Greene is very unappreciated,
