Disagree totally we've had some amazing artists with some great songs and dizzy by olly is another fantastic upbeat song and I think as long as people from other countries don't vote politically then he has a great chance.

yh i agree like some of the people saying the staging is the worst when i mean just look at either 2021's or our weird airplane moment and youll see the improvement is amazing and for the first time in like 20 years our songs are actually really good and listenable lol (i really like ollys entry is really good and the staging is amazing)

Simulating gay sex on a family show is not amazing. And before you say I'm a prude I'm a very open minded sexually active bisexual man. This is just totally inappropriate for Eurovision. And I would say that even if it was simulating heterosexual sex.

It doesn't help that although catchy the song is really below average. It's a weak song in a strong year. It's just all a bit desperate and pathetic trying to shock people when people won't be shocked they would just be disgusted and totally inappropriate as young children will be watching.

My comment wasn’t specifically about Olly Alexander, it’s about the British attitude towards Eurovision as a whole, which is generally very poor every single year. On social media people will comment negatively about a show they don’t even watch. The most popular comments are “it’s rubbish, I haven’t watched for years”, “I thought we’d left the EU”, “Nil points” - although that’s generally spelled ‘pwah’. Personally I do think Olly has taken it a step too far in the staging and not considered the audience, my point was that Mr Angry will complain in the Daily Mail without ever having watched it. Anyway, a pointless discussion really, nobody wants to read or comprehend anything beyond 3 words these days.

I'm sure if Graham was participating in Eurovision and people assumed he was straight he'd also have issues with that as someone who is openly gay and part of the queer community.

@@sirprintalot It won't get votes because the song is terrible. The staging will cost us the few votes we might have gotten. As much as gays love Eurovision, they are a tiny part of the viewership. It is still primarily a family event. Having oiled up men in jockstras prancing about with the tongues out is so cliche

Agree! I've been kickboxing since I was 10, many hours of practice and trophies since. This staging does not in any way depict the reality of what goes on after a nice match among lads. Of course, men will be men, and we do have our needs now and then after a game, but if a dude wants to sing a tune in the shower, we seriously expect him to do so on pitch! 🥊
