So I decided that my 5:06 time that I set with the F10 some time ago wasn't good enough, so I had a go in a F2007. Manged to shave almost 10 seconds off my time with the F10.
I always judge how good a player is at the ring by how much speed they carry into Aremberg, coming in all the way from Flugplatz to Schwedenkreuz. And this dude pretty much flew in
@@candidovini Wrong almost the opposite, they're actually faster than LMP1 cars around corners back then, but all the drag because of the aero cost lower top speed. The reason you think this car is slow on corners, is because those tyres are'nt full conventional slicks, more of a weird offshoot popular around late 90s up until late 2000s, would you equip soft slicks on this bad boy, it would actually beat 2020 F1s and maybe the 919 Evo.
That's insane. A few things make that pretty amazing, like remembering all the corners and hitting them so fast, one mistake and the lap would be ruined, you are indeed a driving beast my friend.
Well done my pupil(Joke). I think that the best lap is at least so important as a skill to drive fast round after round continously while the tires going down. Anyways super skill you put on the day.
Do you ever thought it is impossible to have this cornering grip in real life? I mean like, at Nordschleife, one of the less used and most extensive tracks with alots of crashes from Track Days with many oil spils around it and a surface that is far from being flat?
yeah me too, it gets worse on time/weather change tracks, but you can get it to look smoother,by setting the display options on ''sharpen'' then use the multi-monitor feature, even if you have just 1 screen, set it to 3-1 and then set the angle to 95-90%, set the noise filters of your TV on high and you'll get a better quality image, however, it's been improved via updates so it no longer looks as blocky as this
i saw a video where michael schumacher took a mercedes f1 car around nurburgring nordschleife as a part of some car show there, but he did not do an entire lap it would be interesting if he did a full lap in a mercedes f1 car
the reason its faster than a real f1 car's time is because the driver doesn't have to consider their safety and thus can go faster. I'm sure this person would run times close to the f1 record if they had the physical stamina and experience in a real f1 car
The reason it's faster is because Gran Turismo is a game with poor physical simulation and approximated tracks. The actual track is way, way too bumpy to run an F1 car on. Also there just isn't that much grip in real life, and running over the curbs on Nurburgring would send the car flying.
@Hostilenemy Try these gears for your 2 Ferrari F1's and their current top speed at the top right for what you have posted in your videos; both cars move the final gear all the way to the right and your top speed all the way down. The F2010 gears are 4.185, 3.001, 2.443, 2.014, 1.681, 1.421, 1.215 and final gear at 5.350. The F2007 is 4.198, 3.011, 2.449, 2.019, 1.685, 1.425, 1.219 and final gear at 5.275.
@Hostilenemy a small sacrifice in shifting from 1st to 2nd, to promote closer gearing from 2nd to 7th. i doubt it will bother you at all as you only used 2nd at the very end and you only used it to slow down a little and you were right back in 3rd. you're going to love how close it is. just watch your shifting. my gears are closer than super close. only because of the limits in the game that i cant get them any closer.
Not necessarily. It doesn't entirely depend on speed, but more on the aerodynamics and the circuit. More downforce creates more oversteer. Some circuits provide better oversteering than others, and vice versa with understeering.
I've seen many cars at the 'Ring that can barely hit 220 kph. A supercar isn't required to take a run around the track. I can understand how it would be much more fun in a proper car.
This isn't hard folks, you just need to run the same track over and over until you fully memorize it. Always do it with a fast car. A good way to start is getting gold on those licenses, if still exists. Man i was used to do miracles on GT4... =)
The grass you hit would normally put you straight into the wall in those corners at that speed. I would like to see a clean lap around. On GT6 with new updated physics I could only manage 5:09.524 in an F1 Grand Turismo car. But then again, since it is GT5 and the track is the same for everyone with the physics simulated, that is a pretty good darn run. Congrats man!!! Just far from realistic time...
It's the first PS3 Formula 1 game in the USA. Not sure what the name is, its night time and to dark to find the box. I rarely played it, just didn't feel right.
@daicharade1 He certainly is... But Schumacher also had to worry about changing the LSD, rear/front downforce, and most of all his life. Lol, but this guy certainly is great.
Thanks.but I already did all,I got almost 1st place in all events.I got millions of cash but its not enough. What I really need is to get a nice race car for the "Like the Wind" in A-spec.Now I dont have enough money to earn because Gran Turismo isnt anymore updating seasonal events
I don´t know. And nobody cares. The engine could be a V8, V10, V12, V16, V6, etc. and people just give a shit what type of engine is and how sounds each one. And we all know that Gran Turismo sound sucks. Is easier to post a comment saying: "The sound sucks" instead posting a comment where you suppose to know how a V10 or a V8 sounds.
in fact the ferrari f2007 sound is like a v10, thats because high revolutions of the engine....independent it was a V8.......independent GTsound is a shit, but the game is better that FORZA......is more is the best car game in any console or PC.....is not a game is a simulator
