watched a Mangusta race at Bathurst in real life. Of all the classics that were racing, as a spectator it did look the least enjoyable to drive - but it was also the slowest so maybe that influenced my opinion.
I absolutely love the looks of the Mangusta but not so much the handling. I wonder how De Tomaso expected this to be able to kill Shelby Cobras out on track, maybe it would be a battle of attrition considering the Cobra is also a tough one to control. Also Death Tomato is a brilliant nickname.
This car without any suspension tuning is a pure nightmare on the Nordschleife. There's the part it goes down and always make me lose control no matter what (stock)
Yeah, I’ll stick to the Panera. I only have the Dior edition Mangusta in game (shame, I know), but I hate everything about it. The Pantera, however, is my absolute favorite car to drive in the game, since it looks good, sounds incredible, and the handling is some of the friendliest of all the MR cars in the entire game. Sure, my C6.R inspired ZR1 is way faster and has made me boatloads of money in game, but the Pantera is just so much fun to drive absolutely flat-out on just about any track. I think only the SW20 MR2 handles better, but is also down about 90 horsepower (maxed engine stock for stock), and the sound just doesn’t satisfy my 🍔🍟🇺🇸RAHHHH🦅🦅brain like that lovely 351.
