Car of the year is the 911 GT3 RS...put racing soft tires on it and it is the best controlling vehicle in GT7. Even at top speeds I never felt like I couldn't control it. Gorgeous looking, sounds great, top performance. A nearly perfect car.
no way bro. THE CORNERING, HANDLING IS far from good. ITS FAST but isn't there more to a car than speed? the best car is the V-12 ASTON MARTIN GR3. great on fuel, top speed, and cornering and turn ratio. U also can't go wrong with he SUPRA GR3. any of them are good. THEN THE GENESIS GR3 IS also incredible. the most under-rated car in the game. and of course, NISSAN SKYLINE, NISMMO, AND MOST OF THE NISSAN'S
Honestly, coming from a fan of European cars, I am still absolutely floored that we haven't gotten some rendition of a Mitsubishi Evo 8 or 9. Crazy. For the Record, Evo 5's are my fav.
GT3RS is the best to me. It has insane lap times and that 10k rpm boxer sound pretty good. Lexus is 2nd the sound is amazing. 3rd the RS5 Turbo DTM,its usefull for every WTC800 race. Giulia GTAm is awsome too,the sound is perfect, the old one is pretty good too. Tbh Id rather choose the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon over your top 3. That supercharger whine is the best sound ever
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your loved ones, mate! Thank you for consistently delivering engaging and entertaining content. All the very best to you going forward.
And I really wish polyphony would flesh this game out a hell of a lot more and add more race cars and more tracks....! And for the love of God fix Group 1 and if you're going to bring in more group 2 cars maybe you should divide up the group into two categories, A historic group 2 and modern group 2 same thing with Group 1
just a suggestion but i think it would be cool if you also posted a screen shot of your tune along with the car. i would definitely copy your suspension setup just to see how differently your tune drives compared to mine. always looking for new things to try and i feel like content creators sleep on sharing their personal tunes
I love the stock version of demon, but after i tuned it, somehow i don't like how it changes gears, maybe i did something wrong but i tried different settings still pretty much the same
Great list with a lot of variety. Surprised we didn’t see the GR Corolla though. It’s a great little tuner and I’ve spent a good amount of time behind the wheel of it. Have a merry Christmas, can’t wait to see what 2024 brings to GT7.
@@reneeandchrisforever My dealer has 3 for sale, which surprised me. Test drove a Circuit Edition and it’s amazing. Hope you get to check one out soon!
The EVO 3 is a bad ass car, it is definitely one of my favorites for it's multitude of options. It's good everywhere and at any pp value. I'm pretty surprised that you didn't like the Valkyrie. It's a handful but it is pretty awesome.
@@ShonnDaylee yes without a doubt. It's only downfall at LeMans is the fuel consumption. I like to use the 2016 911 GT3 with the swap, it can do 6 laps on 1 tank at LeMans and it's crazy good. The EVO 3 is one of my go-to cars for Tokyo.
The Evo 3 with racing softs on and with that 4wd system is a cheat code. The cornering speed with that stability is insane, and when I was a kid we had a newly bought base lancer from that generation so its very close to my heart
I just got the 959 and it’s an amazing car, I kept it stock power wise but upgrading the handling components like the suspension, tires, brake pads etc, and I kid you not the thing pops a damn wheelie its insaneee
Would like to hear your car wish list for 2024... might be a neat video idea. It's not my number 1 but I'd like to see an Evo IX or any other variant not in the game yet. Also on that note maybe the bugeye or hawkeye STIs would be cool.
Kyoichi's gonna have one helluva smile on his face when he hears about his car being GT7's 2023 Car of the Year (And he's gonna cut the sticker of whoever objects it)
My all around ''hands down'' fav., especially for long endurance challenges,, is the ''glorious'' Porsche 962C. It is also Touring Car legal,, absolutely 'smooth as silk'',, & frigg'n on rails !!! Best money spent for sure. Just won 1.5 mil. with it,, in a 1hr. challenge,, & also pretty much lapped the whole fiield,, & even had it detuned & weighted ect.,, to get it under the 800 pp limit ! That gave me the 1.5 mil. I needed to complete my Porsche 917K purchase. I'am actually a retired Porsche & Ferrari ect. ect. tech,, & really have a soft spot especially for Porsches. I74
Great video as always. You explain your personal views on the cars so well. I find it ironic and funny that the 2 adverts that interrupted your were both for xbox game pass. Wrong audience methinks.
I’m really surprised they don’t have a 992 generation 911 turbo/turbo S in this game. It seems it would be a beast. All wheel drive lightened up with racing tires. Basically a modern 959.
Challanger demon is easily in the top 3 of the best cars in 2023 for me alongside lfa and 992 gt3 rs But there was so many good cars if was hard to choise
Nice video and first time watcher. Thank you for it. I just started playing GT7. Ive had it a weekish and over 100 hours into it so far. Its my first time playing gran turismo. Im now working on book 39 and at collector 28. It is a bit of a learning curve but ive been having fun with the game so far. Interesting that you rated the 911GT3 rs so highly. Id gotten it to complete a book where I needed to use a porche or euopean car. Since im at book 28 I dont have access to any extreme level upgrades yet. Without buying transmission and suspension ive about 707pp. Im about to try it to complete my book 39 races but I had been considering other cars closer to the 800PP limit like my camaro. Is this a viable car still for the championship or are there other better options?
You'll almost always get better results getting something over the limit and adjusting airflow, ballast, and power output. If you struggle with the F1 style vision cars, then the group 2 cars will do really well at 800pp, with lexus and the nismo being the best endurance and overall performer respectively I used a downtuned super formula, mazda vision car, and lexus gr 2 until the mazda 787b came back to the legends dealership. The old diesel LMPs (sauber Mercedes, R92CP, and the 787b and to some extent the 787b engine swaps) are unmatched in terms of speed, handling, and fuel/tire economy. The 787B is the best all around high performance car for anything 700-850pp. LM55 vision is a great choice for 900pp+ If you're struggling to afford cars, use the red bull junior with racing softs in the 30 mins le mans endurance. You get the clean race bonus every time unless you pass under yellow flag, so it's an easy 825k for 6-7 laps around an easy track. Only difficulty is if the rain starts end of lap 2 or middle of 3, but the red bull junior is fine in light rain on softs and handles flooding on intermediates very easily. If there's no fuel or tire wear, the porche living legend is a monster as well. 8 speed transmission let's you downtune the hell out of it. Limited to almost minimum power and max weight on hards and it still hit 200 easy at Sarthe
We must be of similar age because I so recall the battle, as it was happening, between the 959 and the F40 for supercar supremacy, only to witness them both get absolutely pantsed, out of freaking nowhere, by a $60k Honda. Funny thing about the 959. You called it one of the best looking Porsche's ever made, saying there is just something about it. I completely agree, and that's part of what makes it special, because it's objectively ugly and goofy looking. A weird distortion of a 911 to accommodate the top speed. Hidden in the design was the look of a true super car, which finally revealed itself with the Carrera GT. Yet, and maybe because of its awkwardness, the 959 is one of my all time favorite looking cars.
No Honda Beat mention in the honorable list at least?! Driving the wheels off it on Daytona, rubber banding, to get the $20m cars. I bought it with I think 17k km on the odometer, and its nudging 80k now after about a month of grinding 😂
The new mercedes 190e is absolutely amazing in vr. Also, driving the old cars like the jaguar e-type or shelby cobra is pretty lit. Psvr in GT7 is the best way to play any video game.
Nice list and well explained! I probably would change the Evo for the Evo 😅because the Mercedes is a all time loved car for me. And as a Alfa fan the GTV and GTA are missing in this list. And specially the old version, if tuned, it‘s a great car
For me its that list: 1.) Porsche GT3 RS (992) 2.) BMW M2 Competition (fully tuned) 2.) Porsche 919 3.) Aston Martin Valkyrie 4.) Audi RS5 DTM 5.) Nissan R33 (with high rpm turbos and nos)
I've owned many nice cars but my all-time favorite was my Evo 4. Absolute animal and last of the decent Evos coz they wound styling and raw performance down after the 4. It was like a go-kart. Im a biker by heart and i always used to say it was the best fun you could ever have on 4 wheels ! Viva le Evo ❤
My No 1 in Therms of Cost to Value has to be the Audi RS 5 Race Car i love that Thing exellent Handling Best Turbo in the Game and great Fuel use Perfect for 1 hour of Spa.
Personally I think the best track for testing all around performance is fr la Sarthe. Lots of good corners and straights to test every aspect of the car.
The Porsche 992 is my favorite road car. I love the Ferrari Vision model, too. For racecars, the Toyota GT-One is the smoothest car I have driven, Is it just me, or is the GT-R over-hyped and not that good for much but straight line and top speed? It feels like an overpriced exotic Mustang. But then it is heavy and Ford copied the engine with their Coyote in the GT-350.
Why do you sit on the fence so much? 60% of your car review videos is just you saying "this is my opinion" "it might be good for you" without offering valuble info. XJ220 with a decent tune is a skyline killer in 700pp/800pp. Great stability in braking , rotation mid corner and acceleration and top speed is very solid. LFA sounds great but has a terrible oversteer problem in all phases of a corner (braking, mid rotation and traction on exit) that is very difficult to tune hence why you never see anyone use it... it also had the issue that fully upgraded its around 775pp which means its to weak for 800pp and detuning to 700pp you never get to experience the best it has to offer. Which isnt much anyways The nismo is good but still slower than majority of the other skylines. The 2 SF cars "they are both good at different things" thanks for that... what is their strengths exactly? SF23 better handling for technical tracks SF19 better top speed acceleration for higher speed tracks. RA272 big respect for mentioning this. The funnest car to drive in the game... so much feedback on FFB lots of character. Its competitve at 700pp its acceleration helps in low speed tracks and its top speed helps in high speed track. Its handling is its weakness. Lancers / subaru in general need a buff they are slow in all pp compared to other jdm cars.
AWD Porsche, can't go wrong, and we need more. XJ, meh. Evo,,,, YES! Carrera RS, it's a RR Porsche... Civic is way better than you'd think it would be. So is the Audi DTM. LFA is an essential add, I'm happy it's here, but it should have been in the game from the beginning. 400R was another essential add, but also, just another AWD nissan. I love all of them, but none of them are way better than any other. SF '23.... The closest you'll get to F1 in this game, but it ain't F1. RCR Civic, grrrr! anyway.... 993 GT3 RS, fun, nice, good looking, i hate having to push a button to get the aero to benefit me, but if I'm not trying for a fastest lap, this car is great to just drive. Honda; cool. Evo III... Do you even Subaru bro? #1 for me was WRX STi '04 Thanks for the vid man, sorry for all the letters i just put on the screen....
Top 10 Cars we Never got: Porsche Gt2 Rs Lamborghini Sto McLaren 720s McLaren 765 McLaren 600 Lt Audi Abt Rs7 BMW M5 Cadillac V series Jeep TrackHawk Dodge Ram trx
Some really amazing cars added this year even better than last year, love that we finally have dodge challanger demon, my wish for next years top 10 would be Audi rs6 avant 09 BMW m5 e60 Chevrolet Corvette c5 z06 Ferrari 812 superfast Lotus esprit v8 02 Mclaren 765 lt Mitsubishi lancer evolution lx Mitsubishi gto twinturbo 96 Peugeot 205 t16 Porsche 911 gt2 rs After this cars it would feel quite complete for me as cars are concerned,
So I wasn't feeling any of your top ten u til I saw number 3 and 2 but No McLaren not 1 out of the 3.Have you not gotten your hands on one ? Like dude cmon that view in VR 😮...Btw I have close if not over 3,000 KM on my 65 Honda, its how I got all 3 of my McLarens.
And honestly the newer Super formula cars are worse then the older versions. Especially if you like driving in cockpit mode. I don't know why they made it so the Halo isn't see through. Really messes with your view
