I did this race a handful of times and the weather and wind was exactly the same every time, it seems like it’s a very rare chance to get rain and if you do it’s normally very light and won’t require you to change tyres. If it is super heavy and on the last lap it might be worth braving it out and stay out, everyone else will be in the same situation and the AI are programmed to pit so if do need to make a pit stop you shouldn’t lose any time.
@@ProdigyRacing It's certainly manageable, just strange that the weather radar can miss. In my case, rain came about a quarter through the final lap and filled the meter up to ~60%.
Keep practicing, thats the best advice I can give you. Or check out my latest World Touring Car 900 video around Circuit de la Sarthe, I use a different car for that race and you can incorporate that car setup and strategy for this race.
@@dikaputra7443 keep at it mate, practice makes perfect. You will beat the race soon, trust me. 👍 If you have any other questions feel free to ask me here.
Here's the real question. Is the steering wheel set-up, that much better and worth the pull of money? Really haven't been playing video games in decades and finally got myself really into gt7 . Like between myself (mainly) , friend ,and his 8 y/o son have been playing pretty regularly. I'm more about the game than they are . Only so technical a thumb can accomplish imho. Is it next level control worthwhile?
Plenty of pros and cons to both. Pros: it will make you faster, within an hour of being on steering wheel and pedals I was already half a second faster per lap than controller and I’ve had close to 2 decades of experience in racing games on controller. Steering wheel and pedals allows for more precision which helps with tyre wear/ fuel saving etc. Using manual gears is also a lot easier on steering wheel compared to a controller. It’s obviously incredibly fun to race on a steering wheel and pedal setup. Cons: it can be very expensive. My entire setup has cost around 5-6k so far. It takes a little bit of room if you get a cockpit/ rig. Depending on how much floor space you have available you might have some issues with a rig. Another con is it will ruin the casual feeling of gaming. Once you have a proper sim rig every race feels like you’re competing in a championship. It will also ruin playing racing games with a controller if you don’t feel like using the rig.
