Was there 2 years ago was a great trip. Had just opened back up after Covid so resort was only at 25% capacity which was great for early March.

If you can say ... where do you find your last minute deals ? I look at the usual suspects, Sell Off, AC, Transat etc. Wondering if I'm missing something. Another great tour and unbiased summary. I just got back from Varadero from my 19th trip and it was amazing as usual.. Its the same resort every time And my last 4 trips here even with shortages have been some of the best I've had.. Love your content and I've always said Cuba is not for everyone since my 1st trip in 2014 ..... 🌴❤🇨🇺

Buddy there is so much marine life in those waters. You have a wonderful snorkeling spot across the bay. Loved the beach there. I stayed at the brand new ONE GALLERY next door. Are there a lot of locals in the resort this year? That is what will affect your stay. LOCALS. I guess locals are not vacationing in January. Please do not go to Cayo Santa Maria in April. You will be overwhelmed.

I will say this!!!!i was Just there, its a far drive!!!! The food was good!!!My room was good!!! I did the Adults Only, Better pool and nice Vibe!!!Plus It has Breakfast and Lunch!!!eggs bacon bugers, beer wine!!!! Beach was good, not the best beach by any means!!!!but if your getting a deal... go for it, I wouldn't over pay for this resort!!!! the 24 hour snack bar is BASIC, ham and cheese. I just want to be clear that Cuba is struggling and when I go I understand that and my expectations are low!!!! And for that certain things don't bother me!!! Like they might bother most!!! Mike

Hey Mike. Just found your channel a couple of weeks ago and binge watched all your vids with my wife and loved them. We just got back from Cuba a couple of weeks ago and we loved it. We stayed at Melia Jardines Del Ray and the resort was amazing, no shortages they were fully stocked 😊. It really depends The Grand Aston was 2 days before I left But there are always deals in January first of February!!! After that it’s hard to find seat sale until after March Break

We did that hotel in april 2023 had non single simplement and we were in adulte only we loved hotel ,intertainment and the beach but the food was so bad they had lots of shortage but the rest we loved .

This is a rookie question…. Just had a bad experience in Mexico and never been to Cuba, leaving this Saturday for Santa Maria, but, is the ice cubes generally ok? That’s where my downfall came in Mexico soooooo?

It's like I care about Cubans...😂 i don't bring any money for tips! Why should I ?? This is their obligation to serve me coffee or drink 🍹 if they dont want Canadian loonies and toonies, too bad! I pay for all inclusive resorts and that is it!
