It's interesting that a 4Runner with a third row has 9 cubic feet of space behind the rearmost seats, 46.3 cubic feet with the third row folded and 88.8 cubic feet with all rear seats folded - which is also slightly more then a Sequoia with all seats folded.

Highalnder because I woudnt need so much space and it looks Pretty cool as a crossover truck and can haul plenty of things and family aswell and is also comfortable and a little spacious aswell.

Jeff, The Sequoia is a heavy-duty, body-on-frame SUV purpose built for towing and off road duty. The Highlander and Grand Highlander are all-round family vehicles with the option of all wheel drive They are updates of the classic American station wagon. If you need that third row occasionally, the Highlander is for you. If you need that third row all the time, choose the Grand Highlander. If you never need a third row, just buy a RAV4 like everybody else is doing these days 🤩

My wife owns the Highlander. That thing can go. At 295 hp, it feels light, and nimble. It can also a lot of of fun in Sport mode. We, and a few of our friends have kids between 9 to 16. We go on trips and vacations together a lot, and many of our friends' kids wants to ride in our car, so the 3rd row seat comes in handy. I'm thinking of upgrading to the Grand Highlander, but still on the fence, since the wife wants the RX350, but she hated the new look. I'm just glade we're not buying anything just yet. I don't want to pay cash, given the state of our economy.

The people who need a grand Highlander should really be looking at a Sienna! Unless you figure to tow over 3500 regularly you just can’t beat the passenger comfort and cargo space of a minivan.

Last gen sequoia was bigger inside than all 😅. I was hoping grand highlander would be wide enough to have 2 child seats and one adult in 2nd row. Doesn't look like it's going to happen, completely possible in last gen sequoia.
