Take out those little screws Open it up, you may need a screw driver to pry, pry carefully as it is plastic, remove the old one, Incert the new one, reinstall small screws. Reinstall the unit into the car. It's just as tricky to reinstall as it was to remove. Careful not to break the plastic as it may be brittle, Careful not to screw up the heater core lines as they are fragile too. Other than that, it goes back together the way it came apart. Personal piece of advice from life experience. When assembling something with several nuts bolts or screws.... #1 start all nuts, bolts, or screws by hand A. To make sure they are not cross threaded B. To make sure both surfaces are lined up properly. Hand tighten then torque to specification.
