This is Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo 2023! Welcome to my new and updated 2023 full resort tour of the Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo. My very first video was a tour of the Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo hotel in Cayo Coco / Cayo Guillermo. I have now visited this hotel six times and figured it was time for a new version with clips of my vacations. My most recent visit was November 2023. Enjoy!

Hey, I’m loving all your videos! Thinking of taking a girls trip with my best friend to Cuba. I’m wondering which resorts you would recommend with beautiful grounds, clean and fairly modern rooms and of course a beautiful beach!!?

Hey, sorry for the late response. I’m currently on vacation 😆 There are many great resorts in Cuba. My fave is Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo but that’s mainly because I’ve accumulated family during my stays. Newer resorts that I’ve seen are Grand Aston Cayo las brujas and Grand Sirenis Cayo Santa Maria. The beaches there are absolutely stunning. Thank you for watching my videos. Enjoy your vacation 😊

Would you recommend one over the other between Gran Muthu Imperial and Gran Muthu Cayo Guillermo?

I haven’t actually stayed at Imperial - I’ve been there a few times to visit a friend and have gone on a couple tours. Imperial has a nicer lobby and looks more updated (in my opinion), but Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo has a nicer beach and is perfect for long walks. Hope that helps a bit 😊

I enjoy the food at this resort. They do have shortages but that’s the reality of all resorts right now. Cuba is experiencing low supplies but what they are changes all the time. You will not starve though. I personally think this resort does a good job with meals and what they have available.

Im going there in coming few days, is there a daily night entertainment? Any theatre or stage like other resorts in Cuba?

Yes, there is a theatre and they have a show each night. The theatre is shown in the video.

@@chazzykha3121 hello. I think it depends on the season and how many people are at the resort. I was at the Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo in April and they had a karaoke night.

If I had to pick between the 2, I would go with Grand Muthu because I have many friends there, I like the layout, better food options, and I love the pools. I liked Grand Aston for the beach and lobby entertainment.

How much is lobster at mangrove ?

Are you asking about the lobster at Sendero? I don’t know how much they charge now. I think it was around $20 last year, but I’ve heard a rumour that they only allow repeat guests to go there now because of shortages. I will find out for sure in a few weeks 😊

@@TravellingKareena I’ll be there this Thursday and figure it out thanks. Kind of disappointed to find out cigar bar is closed kind of major reason I booked this place. I usually bring my own cigars anyway. Are there tables with ashtrays around the resort?

@@jefftaylor2041 really, it’s closed? I’m going to ask Augusto and get the scoop. Yes, there are ashtrays on some of the lobby tables. I’m not sure about other places.

@@TravellingKareena yes apparently under renovation and it seems since beginning of March. Do you know if we can use facilities next door?

@@jefftaylor2041 they are separate resorts - the facilities next door are not available to use. Have a wonderful vacation. Hopefully the cigar bar opens while you are there 😊
