Grand Promenade killed on second Jumps racing day in Victoria 2024 

8-year-old Grand Promenade was killed after a fall that happened only on the second day of the 2024 jumps racing season in Victoria. Out of a total of only five jumps races this year, four horses have already fallen and one has died. Victoria is the only state in Australia that still permits the dangerous jumps races, only for the sake of gambling and entertainment.
