100-200 acceleration of my 2007 Grande Punto t-jet with a 250.000km old engine. Setup consists of a TD04H-19T turbo on a tubular manifold, full 70mm exhaust (Gtech), 390CC injectors & 3Bar map/boost sensors, FMIC & Intake and Stage3 H&S Corse software including LC & NLS. More to come as we are still finetuning the setup..

Hello. I have noticed that you came a long way from gt1446 to td04. As I am thinking of modding my AR Giulietta 120HP with IHI VL37 I am facing the problem of choosing the proper turbo. Initially I was thinking of gt1446 or hybrid gt1446, but td04 is also tempting and here comes you with the experience of both turbos. Please tell me if the low rev torque is noticeably lower for the td04 comparing to gt1446 - literally - is it less comfortable as a daily than it was with garret? Havent you considered the AMG A45 turbo?

In general, a gt1446 has a lot more punch down low. There are a lot of variations of TD04 too, some small, some a bit bigger (like this one) where the smallest spool only slightly later then a GT1446. And depends on how you are using it.. , blasting on the high way or more the short accelerations (till like 60-80mph/100-130kmh). A well sorted GT1446 is heaps of fun, the torque is addictive.

Which turbo you think is the best for 50-150 accelerations? Kind of "fast road" setup for fun Im trying to make a bit More fun out of giulietta multiair. So far custom exhaust and intake.

I have a question about the air filter noise that 0:13 I can hear it’s something like a rev limiter on a diesel. My car has the same thing (I drive a Fiat punto grande 1.4T 164HP) I asked around some told me that’s because it’s cold as we see in the video but the car makes it all the time while accelerating any tips how to fix it ?

Do you mean the induction noise when accelerating? If yes, thats normal if you have open filter. If you don't want that noise put back the factory air filter box.

1100eu td04HL turbo inc everything. 600-800eu chiptuning. You will get 250-260hp. So approx 2k if you do it yourself and 2.8-3K if you let it all over to H&S corse Which is btw the best Abarth tuner (Revlimit software)

@@enes19992525 They are not the best tuners, they work together with the best tuners, they also work together with multair developments and not just with Revlimit. And H&S is rather expensive and only located in the Netherlands, so it depends on the location, you can just check the tuners site and see who is flashing the software for these tuners.

@@justvoorfunyeah they use revlimit but have been doing and researching from the begining also their dyno numbers are one of the closest to the real number. A chipped tjet gets 145hp on their dyno whilest on the most part of ‘chiptuners’ it make 165hp wich is way to high and the turbo and cams could never produce that power. If you want to have it done in a good way they’re one of the best in the benelux

Depends who does the job. A td04 set up could cost you up to 3000 euroes. Even more if you go forged internals.

It's a 6cm2 housing, don't believe you can really translate that to an A/R number.

Geen van beide, deze td04 is zowel aan compressor & turbinezijde groter dan die twee :).

@@thijsk89 oooow okee. Staan veel videos op yt van de td04, alleen ziin vaak allemaal 240pk.... en 100-200 14 sec..... jouwe deed het in 11.2sec dus was benieuwd vandaar.

@@gillianoweibolt9785 Dit was eerder 285-290pk vanwege de lage temperatuur tijdens de run ook. Plus is op 17" , als je 18" hebt scheelt dat ook al weer. En met 5bak en hoge begrenzer hoef ik maar 1x te schakelen. Verwacht deze tijden dus idd niet met een 260-275pk kit.

@@thijsk89 hmmmm dus met mijn auto (abarth gp) en een td04 260pk kit, red ik ongeveer 100-200 13sec? Begrenzer komt op 7100 dan.

@@gillianoweibolt9785 als je zonder te hoeven schakelen naar 5 200km/h gps redt met jouw bandenmaat etc. dan zal het rond 13-14sec zijn idd. Flatshift helpt ook drukverlies met schakelen te beperken, daar ligt ook weer wat winst in.

Not measured but based on other setups with tubular manifold i expect roughly 800-850 max.

Im looking at this and im like WTF..... you literraly must have NO bottom end torque but once it spools ... and 1.4l... my 2.0Turbo is WAYYY slower

the tjet can go as far as 500k without a single issue. it is a very basic and uncomplicated without any nonesense.

@@cagataytekin6318 shouldn't, just keep up with maintenance. Mine's around 160k that has been on stage 1 (175HP on dyno) for the past 4 years and has been flawless.

Car went back to stock a few months ago but was running perfect until that point. Finalizing a new build with a forged engine on a GP Abarth. Will have some new clips soon..

@@thijsk89 Thx for answer! I got few more question if u don't mind :) Whats the highest "safe" spot with tjet engine in terms of Hp/Nm without forged con rods ? 300hp/400Nm ? Whats the best turbo to attach to 1.4tjet ? for power like in this video? Maybe u know something better than this td04 cuz its kinda Big for this displacement Is there any major differences between 1.4t engines ? like rods, engine blocks, cylinder heads ? any major differences except camshafts ? for advantage of one I do wanna have car with this engine next :D
