I am sure that you never expected to have this effect on someone, but my father passed away last year and he was always an avid carpenter and handyman much like yourself, and I recently discovered your channel and it has been a blessing of comfort for me, having you teach me all this stuff reminds me a lot of my father, so thank you for doing this and for the peace and comfort you have given me
I paid three and a half bucks for fifty pounds of sand at the beginning of the summer last year. By the end of the summer it was seven and a half bucks. Good video.
I like ithis idea. I have 2 grand children that I'm fortunate to live in the same home. Now unlike you I live in the Arkansas river bottom. Need lis to say we have an abundance of sand. So much so I have problems with holes dug in the lawn an spots in the yard where grass has little chance of growing because of grandchildren digging I one spot. All I have to do is find a cheep container and I already have some 6 mi!! Plastic and 4 chunks of fire wood.
BTW if you need a larger sand box watch for astore clearances of kiddy pools in the fall. Some times you can buy one for 5$ but they do go fast at 5$ each.
I agree. It's a starter sandbox for visiting grandchildren. I had three sons and I built them a very large sandbox. Ordered a dump truck load of sand to fill it. They spent many happy hours in that sand. 🙂
I don’t have grand/children but am all about not buying what society tells you that you should buy and then has a big cost associated. If you can’t roadside find an old kiddie pool or sand box in autumn, (Craigslist, freecycle, the FB free groups) then a bought workaround is great!
