Oh My Goodness! ❤❤❤I followed your recipe to the "T" I think as a student I passed with flying colors. I added just 3 extra ingredients, 1/2 tsp of yellow food color, 2 Tbsp of poppy seeds and walnuts on top. I had no idea, that nutmeg is this magical. I baked for 25 mins. This is DDD best recipe hands down. This cake is to die for. I tried this recipe this past Saturday March 2, 2024. The burst of favors and deliciousness is divine. I did try it today, yes really it's very soft, thank you. I used 3 eggs only. I put some grind fruits mix and nuts in it, i add some grated chocolate too (small quantity). It's was baked at 250c for 30 mins. Came out perfect for me 😊

@patriceelms-jagroop5008 do you have lemon or orange extract ? You can use a splash of apple cider vinegar but it will be a different cake, it will still be good more like a buttermilk case vs a sponge cake
